I am one who does stand with Israel.However,if you think Bush has abandoned Israel,I would suggest that your own Prime Minister,Olmert,has given you over into your enemies hands.

I recently found Stan’s site and have been refreshed by the candidness of his writing. I am an American and find more and more that we are becoming two countries within one - and it plays out in our politics. You can see this clearly with the NIE report - while on one hand the administration clearly sees Iran as a threat, however they now have been rendered powerless by this report.

The days are truly strange here in the US. In the last 45 days this is what has happened.
- Southern California almost burnt down (I live in the Rancho Bernardo area in San Diego that was hit hard)
- Malibu (home of Hollywood stars who we idolize) have had two significant fires within a 35 day period.
- Oregon (one of our most liberal states) has suffered from significant floods
- California bill SB777 is due to go in effect 1/1/08 that would further the homosexual agenda and do more to break down the teaching of traditional family values. The bill actually changes the definition of Gender (I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP - YOU CAN SEE FOR YOURSELF BY GOOGLING SB777). As a result, families are pulling their kids out of public school.
- A teenager shoots 9 people at a mall in Omaha of all places
- And this morning at least 2 are dead at a Missionary Training School in Colorado from another shooting.

Either God is not big enough to stop the Devil (which I absolutely do not believe) - or he is trying to get our attention. It is time for us (the church, not the world) to be the holy people of God. “If my people, who are called by my name, would humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will heal our land” We need to be humble, pray and turn from wickedness.

I think it wise to remember what God said in Amos 3:6

“If a trumpet is blown in a city will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?”

And now that Israel stands alone, the time has come for her to turn to her mighty Saviour. May she open her eyes to her HaShem and her true Messiah. Put not your trust in princes, His Word says. When all hope of man’s help is lost, please turn to your one and only Saviour, Israel. For He is mighty to save.

To the nation of Israel. I am sorry for the way the politicians in USA are treating Israel. They are all like dumb asses. Many in this country do not like what Bush and Condo are up do. If Israel knows what is best they will fight to keep every inch of land that was given to them by the Great God.

Stan, What I find is that, Although his ‘vision’ of 2 peoples living side by side in ‘peace and security’ is continually talked about, chastised and rebuked.

What is not talked about is that from the day his ‘abomination of devastation’, and that is what it became, was proclaimed on June 24, 2002 is that if you stretch this day out ‘2300 days’ it ends on October 9, 2008, the high holy day of Yom Kippur!

This is the only day the Messiah, our High Priest, Yeshua can cleanse the sanctuary. (Daniel 8:13-14) “then shall the sanctuary be cleansed”

As a side note; The President wanted to announce his ‘vision’ on 6-18-02, but the sovereign God of Israel had other plans, a ‘bus bombing’ in Jerusalem killed 19 Israelis that day, so he postponed his ‘vision’ or so he thought he did till 6-24-02.

But what he didn’t know was that it would extend out 2300 days SO IT COULD FULFILL Daniel 8:13-14.

Also day ‘2007′ in the countdown is 12 Tevet or 21 December 2007. It was on this day in 722 BC, Two thousand seven hundred and thirty years, (2730) the exile to Assyria began. It ends in 11 days!!

Israel DOES NOT stand alone ! G-d stands with her…she is the apple of His eye. He will NEVER leave or forsake her. Israel needs to corporately fall to her knees and return to her first love … then He will hear her and heal her land. Call on the Lord o Israel.

You know, America has not only betrayed Israel with respect to Iran and the recent farce known as “The Annapolis Treaty,” but the U.S. has been arming and training Fatah and I read a recent report that the weapons the U.S. has supplied to Fatah have found their way into the hands of Hamas as well. This is just beyond insane.

The U.S. government, for all intents and purposes, is supporting terrorism against Israel. By sending arms, financial aid, and training to the Fatah “policemen” (who are nothing but terrorist thugs who now have a uniform), the U.S. has made the innocent and most vulnerable members of Jewish society in Israel less safe. The U.S. has made Fatah and Hamas better terrorists. The U.S. government has created what will no doubt be an increased security nightmare for the Jewish citizens of Israel and it has made Israeli soldiers’ job to protect Israeli citizens more difficult because now they have to contend with better armed and trained terrorist regimes.

I predict there are some dark days ahead for the U.S. as a result of its betrayal of the chosen people. This Administration has basically thrown Israel to wolves and for what? A “legacy?” How is this any different than the way the British prevented the escape of Jews from Europe during the days of Hitler’s madness. The blood of many Jewish people were sacrificed on the pitiful altar of British oil interests in the region?

Now even the United States government has proven that it sees Israel as an expendable commodity. There is no reason to pretend that the U.S. is ANY kind of ally to Israel.

God has promised Israel “Those who bless you, I will bless and those curse you, I will curse (judge).” There is a God in Israel and I believe the cup of His wrath is almost full.

I have learned that those peoples and governments who refuse to learn about and heed God’s warning about cursing Israel, are either too mentally dull to understand, or they are too wicked to want to.

In the end, this is prophecy being fulfilled, isn’t it? I don’t write that in any sort of fatalistic sense, though. The LORD has been known to extend periods of grace in the past, when His people have prayed. He determined to destroy the cities of Sdom and ‘Amora, yet in answer to Abraham’s prayer, He saved Lot’s house. He purposed to destroy Nineveh for it’s terrible wickedness, yet He first sent His prophet to give them opportunity to repent. So I’m convinced that if Believers would do some really fervent interceding, the Holy Spirit would bring conviction and repentance in these deceived leaders and His wrath would be held in abeyance.
It’s our choice.

I stand with Israel first, last and always! I only know that Israel has brought much upon herself by electing leaders that are secular. The Bush Family has had very close ties to the House of Saud for many years. His actions do not surprise me. I do firmly believe if Pres. Bush attempts to or actually “divided the land” America as we know it is toast.

If Israel would return to HaShem they would not need the US!

G-d has risen up people like us to pray, to speak out to our political leaders, and to stand on behalf of Israel.

Most importantly, G-d Himself stands with Israel.

It’s encouraging to see Jews in Israel standing up and saying “We believe in the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We believe in the Words of the Bible that this land, G-d’s land, is ours. We want our land back, and we want to worship G-d in our land.”

G-d sees this, and will not turn away. G-d still stands with Israel.

Dear Stan: My heart is heavy about my President Bush’s lack of understanding of G-d’s special relationship with the land of Israel. He undoubtedly a product of the teaching from hell “Replacment Theology”. I stand firm with Israel. She is G-d’s land.no man will devide it and get away with.

I have been frustrated and disappointed in the Bush administration on many issues, even though I voted for them twice. However this issue causes me to doubt more than any other the character that I thought They had. To continue to follow the Bush administration or Olmert on this so called peace process is like Hiking the football and running backward 15Yrds. and falling down over and over again and expecting to win! It’s Folly. The sooner the people of Israel realize their only future starts and end with the God of Abraham the sooner they can begin to move forward again. Stand up Israel remember the stories of your ancestors of David and Goliath, Jehoshaphat, Daniel, Shadrak, Meshak and Obednago the Maccabees. Stand up and tell the World we will take back the land God gave us. Israel is not the only one that President Bush has let down, He let down the People of the United States, especially those who put him into office, especially those who thought he had INTEGRITY & CHARACTER.

Thanks so much for writing and expressing each one pf your thoughts and teachings. I learn so much from Stan’s reports and from all the posts. I emailed Stan the other day and asked him “Why are so many Christians here in the US disinterested in the affairs of Israel and prophecy?” He said we are clouded by a veil and it is so true! Our church never talks about prophecy or Israel! I am so discouraged by that. Keep the teachings coming and do share your faith that many could be saved in these dark days. People are perishing everyday without a Savior… Be bold and strong! Pray for the pece of Jerusalem and may your lanterns be filled with oil. Bless you as you serve the King!

There IS a faithful remnant in America and in Israel. We agree with the Scriptures and denounce what our politic leaders are doing. Delta spoke well above. These Scriptures come to mind…

There is one more “woe.” We continually read (and hear) of people who have “read the end of the book.” What about the middle of the book?
Amo 5:18 Woe to those desiring the day of the L-RD! What is this for you? The day of the L-RD is darkness, and not light. 19 It is as if a man fled before a lion, and the bear met him. Or he goes into the house and leans his hand against the wall, and a snake bites him. 20 Shall not the day of the L-RD be darkness, and not light; even very dark, and not any brightness in it?

On our faces before Him, in tears, because we see the day approaching…

OUTSPOKEN 2, I voted twice for Mr. Bush, and at one point ( a couple of years ago), even thought Miss.Rice a worthy presidential candidate. Now, I would vote for neither one, they have become arrogant, and claiming to be christians they don’t go to the Holy Spirit for guidance.

You are right! The faithful in America will never abandon Israel. But I am speaking of NATIONS. And His Word says EVERY nation will turn against Israel. Which means America as well! Kelby, you are so right! It frustrates me so, how so few churches in America even mention Israel! I can no longer fellowship in such churches. To me they are absorbed in their own little world. I can not understand it. Our family was so blessed to have a church for 8 years that loved Israel and the Jewish people, and loved prophecy. Our Pastor spoke each year at the feast of Tabernacles christian Jewish gathering in Jerusalem. And he always had visitors from Israel speaking at our church. Israel tour guides, singers, dancers, musicians… all from Israel. And I so loved it. He even had classes taught by Bill Cloud of Shoreshim Ministries (our youth pastor then), and Bill taught us all how to read and write Hebrew. Now my daughter’s speak it.

But when a new Pastor took over, it all ended, and we left. The churches in America need a rude awakening!

But once again, there is a remnant here who over the last few years has been grabbing hold of the Jewish people and saying, “show me the way, help me understand, teach me my Hebrew roots so I may better understand.” Many many christians here are part of Messianic ministries instead of attending sleeping blind churches.

Stan, thank you for being good enough to tell us the truth, you stated,” The United States has betrayed the trust of its once “faithful friend” in the Middle East, and things are spiraling at an alarming speed - seemingly out of control”. You have used the right words to describe what is happening not only to Israel but the United States and the whole world!.
This week the UK (United Kingdom”) removed the holocaust from its school curriculum because it “offended” the Muslim population which claims it never occured..I was surprised to learn that during the 2nd World War, the Commander of Allied Forces General Dwight Eisenhower when he found the victoms of the Nazi death camps, ordered all possible photographs to be taken, and for the German people from surrounding villages to be ushered through the camps and even made to bury the dead. He did this because he said in words to this effect; “Get it on record now - get the films - get the witnesses - because somewhere down the track of history someone will get up and say this never happened!”. And he was right!.Now they have the nerve to say Iran no longer poses a serious threat to Israel or anyone else within reach of their long range, surface-to-surface missiles!!. America has not only dropped a bomb on Israel, but on its ownself!. President Eisenhower must be turning over in his grave!!.
Yes things are spiraling at an alarming speed, as I see it, God is answering righteous prayers and doing a quick work Rev 22:20, even the “Icy North and South Poles” are melting at an alarming rate of speed, surprising the scientist, why?, because God will be using that pure water for the 1000 years of peace that is just about here!.

I am an American and I love Israel. I pray for her, write my politicians for her, speak up for her anytime I can. I have been afraid for Israel. The Americans as a whole have not given Israel up to the wolves, the politicians have! Olmert is as crazy as Bush is concerning the threat of Palestinians, and radical muslims. The average citizen has no control over dumb moves politicians make. We can complain, and ask them to do better. The US politicians should stick with their FRIEND in the middle east. To push more Jewish folks out, and give that land to muslims is a huge mistake. It will be the death of Israel, which is truly what the Palestinians want. I am quite angry over what has been going on. I have been praying for the Jewish people, and Israel. Do not be dismayed at the people. Put pressure on these politicians…..otherwise things are going to get worse in a short time. But still think of many people in the USA as your friends, we are PRAYING FOR YOU.

My prayers for Israel, USA & the entire globe is ongoing. I believe that G-d is in full control of all events occuring to date. These things must past before Yeshua returns to the throne to be in full present of His faithful people. G-d is in full control.

This prayer of Asaph is totally relevent today. From my lips to God’s ears, I pray it again.

I know what the NIE report stated–that Iran had stopped their plan back in 2003, but that is NOT what Bush said. He even contradicted the report and stated ” “The international community has to understand that if we want to avoid a situation where we either have to accept Iran on a road to a nuclear weapon … or the possibility of having to use force to stop it with all the connotations of World War III, then we need to step up the diplomacy, step up the pressure.” I think Bush’s view on Iran are in line with Israel. HOWEVER, many of the democrats in the U.S. government are NOT. I think they should get some of this blame that is going around.

Where I do disagree with Bush (AND OHLMERT!!) is giving ANY of Israel’s land away. Road map to peace—pleeez! There will never be enough land given away to make everyone happy. God gave the land to the Hebrew people and it should stay in their hands. Keeping the Golan Heights is crucial for protection also. Ohlmert is just as guilty as Bush in agreeing to compromise on the land issue!!

I am praying for peace in Jerusalem, but until “every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord” I’m not sure there will be peace given by God. I love Israel and her people and I pray for their salvation!

Israel is not entirely alone. They only happen to have the God and creator of the Universe on their side. Any Nation who stands against Israel does not. And this includes Bush and the US, sad to say. It is a position that describes the exact condition prior to the end times. In the last few months I have discovered a belief system called amillenialism. I always knew about Replacement theology as long as I have been a christian and I know that that is wrong. But in debating these amils they have denied that they believe in Replacement theology. I know better. They had nothing good to say about Israel. They attacked me with vitriole for standing up for God’s Holy Word, the soon to come millenium, and Israel. It astonished me to learn of such horrible beliefs among whom I had considered were brethren! It also made all of this political posturing come to light. I now understand why evangelicals sign letters for the dividing of Israel for the sake of peace. And why they don’t have discernment when they sign letters to the Muslims wanting unity. Yes, I love the Muslims and Palestinians, but I cannot worship their god as he is not the only true God. Peace and unity at the price of truth is oxymoronic. I will continue to ask for God’s peace in Jerusalem and His prosperity for all those who love her and Israel. For those who are amillenial and such rot as thinking the Church has replaced Israel, may God open their eyes to satan’s lies!

I read the disenchantment with the formal, organized “church”.

Maybe, just maybe the Lord is gathering His bride OUT from the formal organized church; for His bride is made up of those who have painted the doorposts, lintels and jamb of their hearts with the covering of the sacrificed blood of the Lamb Who was slain for our redemption/salvation. The formal, organized church, then, can NOT be the bride — her gown is besmirched with the re-writing of His-story, re-writing of theology, re-writing of archeology, re-writing the covenanted relationship of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob with His first-born into the family of God, to be replaced by the adoptees into the family of God; AND re-writing, to bring about man’s word to replace/substitute for God’s Word.

We are instructed to pray for those whom God has placed in positions of leadership of our nations (i.e. Kings, Queens, Presidents, Prime Ministers). God is the ultimate Kingmaker, and He has placed these persons into positions of power, for His purposes. Persevere. Pray.

God has a plan: He picked a land, He Chose a people, He gave His Word (Who became flesh and dwelt amongst us). This plan moves irrevocably towards fulfillment. Basrat Ha’Shem! Hallelujah.

As much as I hate what is happening with Bush and his horrible treatment of Israel, I believe he is being used by YHVH to bring on the promises in the Scriptures. I just hope and pray that our heavenly Father will not punish all Americans for the actions of our leader.

I must say there is little to take issue with in your article and I agree almost completely. However like Larry, I believe that one must also look to Olmert and what seems to be the majority of Israeli leadership’s push to divide the land and make any concession for peace - regardless of how it cripples Israel’s ability to defend itself and remain sovereign.

Now Olmert - or at least his office - is reporting that they will gleefully hand over HALF of Jerusalem! Even as diabolical the Bush White House and Rice and the State Department has acted in this matter - it seems Olmert and his cronies will deliver the Land, the State, and the People of Israel into the hands of the Arabs/Muslims long before Washington D.C.’s “Road Map To Peace” gets past the first turn in the road.

From my friends that live in Israel, I get the firm feeling that what Olmert and his pals are doing is not the will of a majority of the people. For the time, here in the U.S.A. what Bush and Rice are doing is far from what a majority of people here want to see happen. But as KennethJ said above, even here in the USA, things are being turned on its ear. I am afraid it wont be too long before the support of Israel will be gone here - maybe even to the point of being illegal in someway… you know to protect against terrorism or some poor excuse.

We are facing days as well were we Christians are coming under attack even here in the Land of the Free. From preachers being arrested for sharing the Gospel of Christ on the street corner to a very increased number of violent physical attacks. Not even two months ago a man killed the pastor and 3 men in a local church near Joplin MO and just this Sunday morning a man killed a number of people at a missionary training center and then later at a church in Colorado. It wasn’t that long ago a man went on a rampage in the Texas church. This is something we only “read about” coming from some foreign country only a short time ago.

The point is, everywhere we look, civilization is collapsing around our ears. The Lord, the Bible, and all that is good is being pushed aside and trampled on. But even as terrible as it all seems we as Christians have something to look towards.

Our Blessed Hope. The day the Lord comes to take us out of this place and we go to Heaven.

With all that is happening, I feel that this time may not be very far off. So keep the faith and keep looking up.

First, let me say that things could not have reached this point if Israelis had recognized what a liability Prime Minister Olmert is to their Nation. How he has been allowed to stay in office amazes me.

Yes all nations will abandon Israel - but individuals withn those nations will never do so as long as they believe and practice the word of God. It is a wickedness that Holocaust studies is to be dropped from our school curriculums - but what can we expect from Governments that will do anything to appease the Muslim population here and the oil producing countries elsewhere. This I know though - recently my daughter in law (who is German) introduced me to her mum (also German living in Germany) and together we visited Bergen Belsen. W wept and prayed together, a German woman and an English one, both born after the war, but equally determined that NEVER would these acts of pure evil be forgotten while we had any say in it. She teaches her grandchildren and I teach mine that we must trust in God, renounce evil in all forms, stand true to Israel and speak up against injustice whatever the cost. May God raise up a generation of women who refuse to let these matters be swept under the carpet, who refuse to watch in silence as the leaders of our nations abandon Israel, and who will teach all those within earshot of the blessings and warnings of God. Although I started being a big fan of Bibi Netanyahu since the First Gulf War and he is a great dynamic speaker, I view his return to leadership of Israel with a grain of salt. In Israel and America (and probably the rest of the world too), the politicians talk the talk but something happens when they get into office - they all lose their minds or, as we say at my house, they go “sideways”. Israel needs strong leadership who will stand up to America and defend its right to its land - a Torah-believing, Shabbat observing Jewish man or woman who recognizes Israel’s God-given and God-mandated right to the land of Israel - all of it. Although I’m afraid we’ll have to wait until Jesus rules from the throne of His father David in Jerusalem. Until that day we’re all in for a wild and bumpy ride, unfortunately.

As I read this I, I think of all the Christians who daily pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem”. I think of last year when those who pray for Israel gathered in my church to pray for Israel and I say, “Do not believe that you are forsaken, there are many in the USA who DAILY pray for Israel. Be encouraged that you are the apple of His eye. The God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob we serve.” Know that there are Watchmen on the walls on your behalf. Yes, Stan, it is probably true, America has abandoned Israel. And Bush is blind to see it. And it is probably true that prophecy is becoming fact before our eyes. (For those that have eyes to see!!). But consider this: Olmert is weak and destroying Israel from the inside. With friends like him, Israel needs no enemies. But Olmert will be judged, and stopped, by G-d, as he has done to previous Israeli administrations. And I expect we are to see more judgment soon. RIGHT ON MARSHA! Benjamin Netanyahu IS a strong leader. He too gave away land when he was Prime Minister. But I still think he is exactly what Israel needs at such a time as this. There is no third homecoming of the Jews and Israel DOES deserve a righteous G-d-fearing Leader we should pray for. G-d makes it clear that He returned them not to finish them in severe judgement (like the *complete end* He will make of the nations that come to divide her):

Biblically, Christian friends of Israel have a mandate to speak over Israel prophetically her restoration instead of fingerpointing at her incompletion and foretelling her judgements. It is what we would do for heathen unbelievers, but the harshness we apply in our criticism of the Jewish people is imho not understandable.

My dad gave me a Bible when I was 8. I read my Bible diligently, by the hour. (& oh, how envious I was of the beautiful promises G-d made to His people. How I wished I could be one of those .) I “accepted Jesus” at the age of 10, & was baptised as soon as my family would allow it (age 14). I grew to love the G-d of Israel & His holy Word. But it wasn’t until I became messianic that my eyes came wide open. I feel like I’ve lived all my life in black-&-white, and now I see in color. The Torah (all of it; Tanakh and B’rit haDashah) is even more full, even more alive, than ever ! Seven years ago, when Ehud Barak was Prime Minister and negotiating away Israel’s future the rumors were flying that he had agreed to give away the temple mount. Today the rumors were confirmed

According to a document brought out of mothballs seven years after it was signed, Defense Minister Ehud Barak – then Prime Minister of Israel – agreed to transfer the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Judaism’s holiest site, to Arab sovereignty.

The document entitled “The Status of the Diplomatic Process with the Palestinians - Points to Update the Incoming Prime Minister” outlined the many points of disagreement between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), but noted significant agreement on at least three core issues.

The talks at Camp David and Taba in 2000 and 2001 resulted in agreements on the issues of borders, “refugees” and Jerusalem, according to a 26-page document obtained by the Ha’aretz news service.

The report say that Israel was to to annex 4 to 6% of Judea and Samaria for Jewish settlement, with 94-96% of the region going to a PA state, providing that Israel allow all PLO Arabs free passage through Israel. The Temple Mount would go to the PLO, with the Western Wall, the City of David, the Mount of Olives and other holy sites being given to Israel. By agreeing to give up the holiest site in all of Judaism Barak started down the path of severing the legitimacy between the Jewish people and the Jewish Homeland. I thought that this american attitude towards Israel was a recent thing…but since reading the book “Broken Covenant” by Moshe Arens (which I highly recommend to others interested in this issue in order to fully understand whats going on)
I see now that this policy change towards Israel by american officials has been in place since Bush Sr. was in office. And the very same tactics used at annapolis have been used since that time and should come as no surprise to anyone…least of all Israeli officials.

Americas officials have been promising nothing and Israeli has been accepting it for a long time now and they cant not know that when they finally do get to the table…everything will have changed and they will have to bite the bullet…take the blame… make more concessions etc.

Bush Jr. is just following in his daddys footsteps and bringing up the rear. And NO ONE of the leadership in Israel can honestly be surprised at anything our government throws their way. I find it very interesting that those in Israel who havent forsaken the covenant are talking about re-establishing the nation of Judea and claiming Judea and Sameria for themselves. So that once again the hebrew peoples will be divided into 2 nations/countries….

This is definatly something to keep an eye on cause of a prophecy towards Mt. Seir and all Idummia/Edom.

This prophecy is found in ezekial 35 and speaks specifically of the time in which Israels iniquity has come to an end and it is at this time that there is a calamity and Edom once again takes advantage of it ….and attempts to declare the2 nations/countries in Israel….as their own. That can only be Israel and Judea since they already consider gaza and the west bank as their own.

In regards to the nation of Israel….2 countries have not existed along side each other since the assyrian dispersed the 10 tribes. And at this time does not exist either. But if those who want to reestablish the nation of Judea succeed in taking that area to themselves….the ramifications are vast!!!

For 1….the so called peace process will come to a screaching halt and thats just the tip of the iceberg.

In the end tho…when all is said and done…we of all people….really should stop professing surprise at what is going on as if we had no clue these things would be happening. It leaves those weak in faith as well as the non believers with the impression that we are clueless and grasping at straws in the dark.

If Ezek. 35 is telling us what it seems to be and the declarations from the people in Israel come to and the nation of Judea is once again declared along side the existing nation of Israel , then we are not left in the dark about it and need to search the scriptures to see what is so.

The whole point to prophecy is as Jesus said…to declare it before it takes place in order that people see it come to pass and will know that He is who He said He is.

If world “circumstances” permit a new president to take office in 2009, it will be FRED!

Politically-minded “experts” who believe that more money, a better organization, particular endorsements, media saturation or voters with particular slants on the issues are the reasons for success — then FRED will be teaching everyone some very valuable lessons.

FRED could stop campaigning, spend most of his time at home with the family or go fishing, he is destined to win!

Not one of his opponents can overcome FRED with their criticisms concerning his stand on the issues. Any attempt to destroy his chance for victory by running negative commercials will backfire. If either Republicans or Democrats choose to use character assassination as a tactic to turn people against FRED, they will be forced to resign from politics when scandals ruin their own reputations.

Yes I would love some input on the subject of the 2 nations , the more heads rattling around with these thoughts the better. So stan if you have the time…or anyone else for that matter….any and all input on this would be greatly appreciated.
Lord knows my pea brain cant hold it all…LOL

So many wont look into prophecy and many of those who do seem to just take it up as a hobby? So that when I put things like this out there…often they seem to have no clue as to what Im talking about? I say that cause no one responds…
Due to this Ive learned not to even expect answers to things such as my above post.

I of all people realize that trying to sort out prophecy isnt easy…for one you have to have at least a weak grip on history as well as current events. In order to distinguish what has been from what is and shall be…admittedly Im a house wife and have more time on my hands than most…but

And then too you have to be somewhat familiar with the prophetic books , a good over view goes a long way in this regard, having a grasp of what each talks about helps alot in cross referencing the various subjects with the other places that they are written about to get a fuller picture.

But most of all you just have to read and pray for understanding as only the Lord can provide in reward of our faithfulness….cause as Im sure we all have been witness to….many claim to be scholars of the good book and have alot of letters behind their names to prove it….and yet it immediately becomes clear that they really have no clue and are basing their assumptions on worldly wisdom.
This was driven home for me one day as I watched a documentary about King david. Their “expert” on the subject had an old bible the size of a coffee table that he was standing over as he denied that david ever existed?!? LOL
I laugh but it was truly sad…some who would devote their whole life to biblical history and have no clue as to what they were talking about.

One thing I have found thru all this is often when I want to understand something…there are others things I have to learn of first. I suspect that many get frustrated due to this and give up. But I encourage anyone who is interested in the study of prophecy….DONT
Just keep studying and let it all fall into place in the Lords good time. Cause I did need to know the “other” things first before I could truly understand and appreciate what I wanted to learn about in the first place.

As for the prophecy in ezek. 35 …it is a great example of needing to be familiar with the prophecies and then having some knowledge of what has been, what is and what shall be…..

I had read it many times and while I knew that is was for the end times …it was just a general knowledge. In fact …cause I had read it so many times I almost didnt take the time to really look at what I was reading….I have a bad habit of that…assuming I already know whats there. (blush)
And thus I almost passed up the 2 points that have caused me to start asking questions.

Anyway when I came across the articles about people attempting to settle the hilltops in Judea and Sameria, I went in search of prophecy that might point to this development. I have Esword and plugged “Hills” into the search feature which brought up several verses for me to go over. But I found nothing concrete.

Then it came out that they were also threatening to declare the area that Israel wanted to give up to the palestinians as their own and call it the nation state of Judea. Now that had to be written about yes? LOL

And it was then that I came again to ezek. 35 in reference to Israel and her enemies and the words …”when their iniquity came to an end” and “these 2 nations” jumped out at me. And that put me in mind of what is said in zech about Judah being saved first and its governors devouring all the people round about.

I havent had the time to research this further but if it is the case…there will be more prophecy to back it up. If I come across any more to confirm my suspicions I will post here for you all.

I read a lot of comments about how Israel needs to trust in God, but interestingly enough America is somehow exempt. What I would like to know is what is the Church going to do about helping Israel?

Victor, what can we do more than pray and fast? There are Evangelical christians who want to be friends with Islam and send letters to the President to support the two- state “solution”. There are many denominations who believe the Church has replaced Israel. So very sad that they do not know the Scriptures pertaining to prophecy and God’s promises to Israel! Those of us who do believe God’s promises to Israel do try to debate them and point out the misinformation these christians have come to believe as truth. And America does not, as a nation, care about God’s promise to bless those who bless Israel let alone care about God Himself as our portion. In pretense we sing “God Bless America” but how true it is that some have said that America should bless God. And one of the ways is to bless Israel with our support for her against her enemies. I pray that the next President will do so.

Israel is at the worst crossroads it has been in practically since it’s rebirth in 1948. Bush, the “Christian” (with the forked tongue) president, is so concerned for his “legacy” in the Middle East, that gosh darnit, he’s ready to carve up the land God promised to Israel and give it over to TERRORISTS.

And what pressure do you hear coming from church groups? ….I think I hear the crickets chirping.

I give financially to worthy Israeli causes, and I also have volunteered with VFI helping out at IDF bases (and I would gladly defend Israel, life and limb, against those who would seek to destroy her). There are many other things that can be done, but most of all the Church is sleeping while the enemies of God cut her to pieces.

As for those “christians” who need to be explained what the Scripture clearly teaches (and very insistently) - don’t waste your time. You can’t teach what the heart will not accept. These people are NOT Christians, not by any stretch. Otherwise, they would love the apple of God’s eye.

I hope to God president Bush gets the boot next month when he travels to Israel.

Yes we must fast and pray, thereby pounding on heaven’s gate. Additionally, there are tangible actions that are outward witnesses of our faith and our stand that blessing Israel is covenant keeping:
-contacting the leaders of our country, local and national, and telling them these covenant truths
-speaking to our congregational leaders, local and national, and our brethren, encouraging them to join us and showing them the truth in Scripture so that the Holy Spirit may lift the veil from their hearts
-putting our money where our mouths and prayers are and financially contributing to the needs of physical Israel, else how will we do, as Paul said , “if by any means [we] may provoke to jealousy those who are [Paul's] flesh (that would be Israel) and save some of them. ” -Rom 11:14
-surveying the Presidential candidates to find out who will do the right thing by Israel, as it is clear Pres Bush won’t, and VOTING!

MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE, SPIRITUAL ISRAEL! = SPEAK YAHWEH’S TRUTH! PREACH THE KINGDOM OF GOD, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN!

2Pe 1:10-11 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; (11) for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

There are many of us in America that love the land of Israel and her people, as you can see. Many are not happy with what is going on with the decisions that are being made for your country and we lift you before the G-d of Abraham , Isaac, & Jacob, who is our G-d as well. The truth is spreading very fast and more and more people are seeing the truth that your G-d is our G-d. There is a TV station in Midland Texas called Prime Time Christian Broadcasting Station, GLC you can get them on the computer, and they are spreading the love for Israel. Very wise counsel, Victor, Leslee and Gary. I am physically limited, but if I could fight for Israel in uniform, I would in a minute! Yes, Victor, I agree with you about these so-called Christians who refuse to see the truth. They are not true Christians. But there are many who have been raised to believe such things, and I hope to reach a few with the truth. If they are stubborn, well then, the debate is over! Whatever the Lord puts before us to do, let us do by His grace. And let’s see what charities we can give to and what organizations for Israel we can help to support because we will then be doing for the Lord’s brethren, the Jews, even the least of them. Amen.
