I sadly agree with all you’ve written, Stan. I write from Kiev, Ukraine. This has been heavy on my heart. My husband and I were just in Israel a little less than 2 months ago. Just being there in the land was all I wanted. As an American, I grieve. We know these things must come to pass but woe to them by whom they do. We know the scriptures foretell of it when the culmination of everything begins–and while I so want the return of Messiah, it’s an awkward time. It’s hard to watch the beginning of the “hard part.” It does have to be a divine blinding…it’s too obvious.

There is no fear of God with them. I, and others, have made note that the news have done no more than blurbs concerning this. There are more important things to talk about, like Cheney’s heart and Helmsley million dollar dog being threatened with kidnapping. Sad day indeed. No matter what happens, it is in their hearts to come against God’s people and land. I fear for what judgements of God we will see. This will consume my thoughts today as well as my prayers for Israel.

We are sure of the exact timebut it looks as though Joel 3:2 is coming upon the nations.

I join you in your ‘burning indignation’. “I will plant Israel in their own land, never again to be uprooted.” Amos 9:15 is taped to my computer here in front of me.

Shocking description of our national blindness, Stan! Maybe the Lord has a surprising outcome. If not, America will certainly lose the privileged position we once had from the Abrahamic covenant that those who bless Israel will be blessed.

I am a Christian. I am an American and I love my country; however, I love God more. I stand with the Jewish Christians in Israel and their “burning indignation” over the meetings in Annapolis. What are we thinking?

For some Americans, who know and fear the Lord Our God, It is a day of deepest sadness, anger, and feelings of betrayal by the Bush adm. God must be causing them to err as he said. America will reap much sorrow from this decision.

I pray and wish with all my heart that the people that are in office here in America had the brains of an ant and could see how they are playing into the hands of those that are against Isreal!! I am not for dividing Isreal but for Isreal staying as the Lord God has given Her!! I wish that Isreal wouldn’t listen to America and not do as they say. I am for Isreal all the way!

Oh Stan, how grieved my heart has been for Israel and America. I can not even pray today, but only weep for what will be next. My heart is so heavy. America, America, what have you done? America’s days of wealth and power are numbered Stan. In one hour, everything will change. And not just for America, but for the entire world.

As I read your commentary I find I am at a loss for words … you spoke of the fires on the west coast, the earthquates in Israel then too there is the sever drought here in the South east….high temperatures for this time of the year, clouds…but no rain…
Keep praying is all we can do maybe in the vain hope that the US will wake up…it is all in God’s hands and I weep for Israel and ourslves as well.

Do not mourn or grieve for Israel,
It is God who has brought us to this time. I kept my 5 smooth stones in my pocket yesterday and as I lay on my bed at midday praying, I took each one out and held it in my hand. I prayed judgment to the wicked and mercy to the innocent.
One small stone was Egypt. One was Jordan, One Syria-Iran, One was Palestine, The big one was the U.S. and who she had influenced.

When we consult with & rely on others & not Our Heavenly Father, there are dire
consequences for all.
My prayer for Israel & America & all the world is that we will return back to YHWH

I agree with you, Stan. Many have stated their sadness about Govt being so blind,
but I am grieved over the church’s response. You don’t hear any of the televangelist preaching about what’s coming - they are too busy padding their pockets and living their lavish lifestyles and trying to get people to give so they can buy another jet, house or car. Oh how I needed to read truthful news! Thank you Stan. After reading in my local [Baltimore] newspaper a portion of President Bush’s speech “The Israelis must be ready to bring an end to the occupation that began in 1967″ and thinking “WHAT!” and then reading reporters’ perspectives (mostly anti-Israel), I so needed to read from this website. Reading people’s comments also helps me; knowing that I’m not alone in my support and love for Israel and the God of Israel. And also not alone in my views about this from a Biblical and not worldly perspective. I concur with everyone’s comments and as Paula Maillet says — it’s with a heavy heavy heart I watch this, in my own State. It’s with a heavy heart that I see my home church that I love, seemingly asleep. Some of us have tried to bring Israel to the leaders’ attention. They are kind enough to hear what we have to say, but it’s as though they’re not interested or don’t feel led to have our church involved with anything about Israel. We see no action taken. It breaks my heart.

Your words were so beautifully expressed……….and make me weep. Only those with “spiritual eyes” can understand what is happening right here under our nose. That gathering at Annapolis is nothing but “liars making deals with liars!” (God has a place for liars! Rev. 21:8). America has been in a downward spiral for a long time………I pray for Israel and for America. I pray not for justice but for mercy. Come, quickly, Lord Jesus!

Yesterday 11-30-07, after praying for our Beloved Israel, while I was working around my house, I heard, (what I believe was the Lord) speak into my spirit, “Do not fear, Yet again will I harden Pharaoh’s heart in order to save My people and the Land of Israel.”
This word gave me great peace and rest in my mind, leading me to a place of faith in God for the future of Israel. I hope it will strengthen others as well, as we believe in God Himself for the fate of Israel.

I share Carol Tate’s frustration with America’s leaders in the prophetic movement. I mean seriously, besides there never being a Palestine, there never was a prophet outside of Israel; the prophet of Elohiym was always a prophet to Israel. C’mon, how ridiculous a notion would it be to have a prophet of Antarctica or a prophet of the South Pole! If a prophet claims such an office, they should operate in their prophetic gift for the purposes of Israel, G-d’s chosen. That has become my barometer of late: if the ears and eyes are not set on Israel, I will not listen to that particular prophet at all; they are not deserving of my time and are not qualified as a diligent Watchman.

It has become predictable over at Elijah List for example. “Leave the prophetic words about Israel to the Messianic Jewish leaders, while the rest of us will continue to prophecy exploits for us Americans” seems to be the motto. How ludicrous (and subtly anti-Semitic)!

Believe you me, no nation will experience revival or witness His return, until Israel does first.

So, Stan, job well done, how sad for Israel, yadda, yadda, yadda. But if I were you, sacrificing precious time - better spent davening-shokeling with Rabbis at shul or sharing a Shabbat meal with Yeshiva students for instance and introducing Yeshua - coming to a self indulgent, consumerist, nation as America and its arrogant leaders, I suggest admonishing these high-profile prophets and apostles of America who are unwisely neglecting Israel - with love of course (don’t wanna offend the Hippiesque prophets these days, as if Elijah or Isaiah strived to please and play nice - then quickly return to G-d’s beloved Israel, your homeland (and oh! how I wish mine) and continue our mandate of “to the Jew first”. It’s disheartening to witness the American prophets and apostles short memory; forgetting they, having been ingrafted into Israel’s Olive Tree (I’m getting tired of reminding my gentile brethren of this, like a gong), that they, too, now are considered in the eyes of G-d as Jews. Ask any Christian if they consider themselves Jews - “New Jews” if that’s easier on their ears - and you’ll see that ancient scripture personified: “My people PERISH for lack of knowledge.”

Not a peep about about the travesty at Annapolis on Elijah List (with the exception of the young John Crowder, who, btw, left David Herzog to do the dirty work as an Israeli advocate). Just more shtuff for the dusty Church attic. Pity.

Besides reading into Israeli news broadcasts once in a shabbat moon, I’d require every prophet in America to study the lengthy introduction to Abraham Joshua Heschel’s book, “The Prophets” before publishing such bogus trite devoid of any concern for Israel.

I am a devoted to JESUS, sad American. I live in a pagan country, wracked with filth, vile sinfulness, many of our people call good evil and evil good, more and more hostility towards the ALMIGHTY abounds, the NAME of JESUS is only permitted as a curse word. We have butchered 40 million babies in their mothers womb, we embrace sin and worship the sinners, violence is entertainment, is it any suprise that we turn our backs on Israel, the people of GOD? So Jim you & i did not have the same dream as i am getting on in age but you and my oldest son had somewhat of the same vison for one week after my dream he called and told me of a vison that he had had also knowing that he has also a complete Heart for Israel. He and his wife were going down the highway when out of the eastern sky came three ships only they were flying they got under a bridge as they would fire thing’s would be throwen out and away than after alittle bit be sucked right back in, any thing that moved as in car’s, buses & truck’s were completely killed but not one human was hurt buy these flying ship’s they were alive but nothing had any power as in car’s,radio’s or tv &coumpter’s they were left alive but walking. so what do all these thing’s say to us? Look up for our Redemption is drawing nigh…. Our Father has promised to Never Leave us or Forsake us we MUST relie on Him & only Him

Both of our son’s had dreams which were given only a day apart, and nearly the exact same dream!

In the dream they were in a house and encountered a beautiful woman, she tried to seduce them, then they heard the Lord say, “TOUCH NOT THE WOMAN.” Immedietly the woman was transformed into a grotesque ugly evil creature.

She frightened them so, that they ran out of the house. As they got outside, the sun immedietly set and blackness covered the earth. All the people were gone, and everything was nothing but rubble. They could feel overwhelming evil in the atmosphere, and heard strange cat-like creatures howling. They could see the shadows of these creatures all around as they howled.

Both of my son’s drew for me a picture of how these cat-like creatures looked. They both drew the same exact picture! They both believe these are the creatures spoken of in Isaiah after the destruction of Babylon. They will inhabit the waistland afterwards.

What are the chances that 2 brother’s would be given the very same dream? My son’s are 30 and 32 years old. They had these dreams about 7 years ago.

Dear Sister, Thank you too, for sharing the amazing story about your two sons dreams. it is incredible to think that the Lord would impart such identical dreams to two brothers within a 24 hour time span. There is a message in their dreams that the Lord didn’t want missed.

I am so blessed to have so many wonderful brothers and sisters in the Lord who love Israel and who love and wait for Yeshua’s appearing, and we have Stan to thank for drawing us all together on this website. I pray that the Mighty God of Israel would blind the eyes of the enemy to sites such as these, so that as things become increasing dark and evil throughout the face of the earth, we will continue to find a place of refuge & strenthening here on Jerusalem Watchman, a place where the truth can continue to go forth unhindered.

Hard sometimes to share in print or out loud the things God makes clear to me. In the case of dreams, there is really no way to say they are certain to take place, or if they are real in anyway. This is not something I am used to , an odd rare occurance which was why i was curious what others had seen.
I saw a chariot pulled by four large white horses. It was driven by a face of i know not what glowed and was fearsome. Closest I can describe it was it looked a bit like the head of the dragons they use in chinese new year clebrations.huge knew not if it was from God or the enemy.It rode on the sea coming directly toward me and off to its right hand, my left ,everything was leveled as it passed.As if in dierct line with its passing . And everything in it’s path was leveled creating a very high cloud as buildings and everything else collapsed. Was much like a sand storm you might see in a movie earth to sky a wave of destruction. Who knows?

I understand when you say it is hard to share in print or out loud the things God shows us, as I myself struggle with the same thing. Or as our brother Don Schweitzer says in his intitial post, the things the Lord shows us, whether by dream or vision ‘cannot even be described’! Our vocabulary and understanding seem so limited at times like these. Yet our hearts know what we have seen and all we can do is to receive them and to do our best to share them - for there is a reason they have been given. So again, thank you for being willing to share this with us. The details of your dream will surely become clear as we watch things unfold before us, but one things we can be sure of: “The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray.” 1 Peter 4:7 The Lord gave me this verse as a confirmation of something He showed me this past weekend - something I am presently struggling to put down in words, but so far, I have not found adequate words to convey what I was shown….

May the Lord continue to reveal to each one of us the things He desires us to see, and may He grant us wisdom and understanding concerning these things.
