Let’s all be honest with ourselves. This wicked world doesn’t give one iota about Jews, in Israel or anywhere else. The world, including America, will and does sell Israel out any chance it gets. We know that Israel will stand alone. The fact that this country views James Baker and Jimmy Carter as experts and as worthwhile listening to on any subject says a great deal about our political elite. Anti-Israel thinking is EVERYWHERE, including in our churches. I know there are pockets of people, perhaps even whole churches here and there, who support Israel. But that’s not making a dent in public opinion I don’t believe. It’s one of the biggest battles on the spiritual stage in the world today. I always knew it was coming, I just never wanted to see it. We’re always supposed to pray for our leaders, and of course, for Israel. But these leaders’ hearts are hardened. They know information we as the general public don’t know and they still choose to do what they do. It’s coming, my friends. It’s coming.

Most American conservatives Christian, Jew and even secular agree that the Iraq report is pure, politically correct, anti semitic , worthless garbage. Please keep getting the truth out as best as you can. There is a growing number of evangelical Christians who are supporting Israel and are trying to find out how to bless Israel more.

We have been hearing little tidbits of how God is raising up a group of leaders and preachers of righteousness that do bless Israel.

Keep speaking up. And please remember God’s encouragement in Galatians 6:9, “Let us not grow weary in doing good for in due season we shall reap, if we don’t lose heart [give up].” That is God’s encouragement to all of us. We must all keep learning how to follow God’s instructions in Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you [Israel], and curse those who curse you.”

I can just hear your heart on this one……it’s painful for us in this country who love the nation of Israel to see the lack of response. I’m still holding out hope that “behind the scenes” much is happening.

I have written letters and will continue to do so. I will support Israel in what ways I can. I cover your nation and ours in prayer daily. I feel so estranged from this world. Not in a despondant sort of way, but just feeling like I’m separating from all that I once held on to and counted as important.

I want with all my heart to believe our President “gets it”. That he knows about scripture, the prophecies and the important of our standing by nation of Israel at all costs. What sends shivers down my spine is the thought of the next administration! Like you, I feel so much is slipping away and I feel powerless at times to stop it.

I’m finishing my book. I feel that God will use this to launch me into a ministry. I want it to be one of reconciliation - on all levels. I’ve vowed to the Lord that I would speak boldly for him and not deny his name. I pray that he’ll always give me the strength and bravery to do this.

I wrote President Bush tonight, but don’t know if it’ll get through - there are those in this world who are the “untouchables”. But I know God can and will reach his heart - it’ll be our prayers collectively that move his hand.

Do not lose hope. In the end, it’s not up to men to save Israel - but the Lord will do this. He said so…..hang on to that and believe in his power to protect and defend his own.

My own theory is that if and when Israel feels the time is right, it should defend itself against her enemies. The enemy is trying to provoke a first-response. Don’t allow them a second……

I will continue to pray and seek our Lord’s face on your behalf. Pray for America too. We need your prayers just as much.

Stan, fear is gripping Bible Believing Christians in the U.S. They see what is happening…..those with discernment have already began to fast with prayer…They/We realize the danger…..God help us all! I am praying that this extremely important message gets out. However the majority of the Christians in America have no clue what being in a proper relationship to Isreal means and / or requires of us. They also don’t comprehend the danger of the anti-christ religion that is breathing down the neck of the entire world to turn them agaist Isreal. They just don’t comprehend. God has not opened thier eyes. The church is clearly a church that is so comfortable and confined to the doctrines of men that they can’t and won’t step outside of their beliefs. They feel they already have all the answer and that’s that — I guess, aparently they know all there is to know about God. As one said in a previous post, there are a few people here and there. It is a cold church, not interested in God’s heart of love for his firstborn — the Jews. The words of our Lord ring so true at this late date.

God is sifting the nations. He is dividing the goat nations, peoples from the sheep nations and peoples. This looks very bad, but in the end it will be good thing. In all the sifting and shaking of men’s hearts and minds, only those who seek the Lord with their whole hearts shall find him. Those who stop at thier local churches’ set of doctrine — will NOT find God. God’s Word and understanding of that Word will be the only way a person will be able to discern between that which is of God and that which is not. Sure — they can pervert the Word of God to make it say what they want or they can allow God to speak for Himself and hear the Word of God.

People need to Hear the Word of the Living God and humble themselves to it, NOT to the words of the pope, the president, muslims, or the word of any man. We need put God’s Word above the words of man if we are going to withstand the confusion and the gross darkness coming upon this earth in the coming days.

The Lord is dividing, rejoice and be glad, He is at work and we are in His Hands, and we know the end is victory for Israel and all those who support her.

Most people refuse to see the prophetic statements of the Messiah in Luke 13:32-35: “…Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the YHWH.’” Of course, the Messiah was quoting Ps. 118:26.

The eyes of Jerusalem and all others must be removed from EVERY other person or government and placed on the returning Messiah. I hate to say it, but this means that the current relationship between the US and Israel will cease to exist, one way or the other. Israel’s eyes will be turned away from the US and to the Messiah (Zech. 12:10).

And for the “Gentiles”, refer to Zech. 8:23: “Thus saith the YHWH of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.”

The “Gentiles” must grasp the skirt (garment, corner, or tassel) of a “Jew”: Yeshua (Jesus). There will be no other way to come to the Father, for Jew or Gentile. Both must make a decision, and both must go to Him who was pierced to be united into one people as prophesied in Ezekiel 37:15-17.

The Word of YHWH will be fulfilled…in His time and in the manner He desires (Is. 55:11)

It seems that “peace” in the Middle East is on the minds of politicians in most nations these days. Talk of “land” exchanged for cessation of hostilities is a form of “blackmail” that should not be considered to be “legal” by intelligent people — but that is exactly what is happening.

Another concept that should be redefined is the idea that one nation or “kingdom” can start a war against another nation or kingdom without consequences.

To me, the aggressor should be penalized when losing a war through the loss of land once it is in the possession of the winning defender. In other words, Syria should have no claim on the Golan Heights, and Lebanon should not have been able to reclaim southern territories after the recent war. If Palestinians are sending rockets into Israel — war should be declared! All land that comes under Israeli dominance – such as Gaza – during the fighting should be considered “spoils of war” for all future generations. Maybe nations and kingdoms would think twice before attacking others if their land was susceptible to loss when enemies turn out to be the victors?

International standards are not presently capable of “fair” judgments or recommendations under the auspices of the United States, the United Nations or the European Union. A realistic, honest “peace” between Arabs and Jews will never happen until God comes to set things straight!

America should have taken full possession of Iraq when Saddam was defeated!

All of those who opposed “democracy” as established and controlled by us should have been captured, judged, imprisoned or destroyed. If this had been the “strategy” outlined from the beginning, oil wells would be producing “wealth” under our direction for the inhabitants of that land. Instead of Iran and Syria being on the “political/economic” verge of taking over Iraq on their way to destroying Israel, America would be regarded as “too strong” to antagonize.

It is very bad that the world is not taking part for Israel! Very, very bad. After all, the so called Cristian world, base their Faith in the Bible, wich is the Word of the God of Israel, and the prophets they believe, where all Jews. Jet, they have forgotten all this and now are supporting the Arabs!
In one side is very bad that they leave alone Israel, but in the other side this is for the GOOD of Israel. Becasue it is only when all are against Israel that Israel will turn completely to the God of Abraham, and make right all their ways. And ONLY THEN God will answer them. I believe that the nations, including the US, will continue in their course - to destruction. So, why has HaShem called some to give this warning? I believe it is so none can say they do not know. God’s judgement will be poured out on the nations, and, this will be an opportunity for Israel to turn to him. Thank you for your inspired letter. It “re-awakened” me to the very real threat that most specifically faces Israel, but also threatens America as well. I will pray more earnestly and look for ways in which my beliefs might be turned into effective steps of action.

“For the first time, members of four area mosques welcomed Iowans to “join in the making of history and get a taste of what it feels to be a Muslim.”

Emboldened by sucess Iowa Muslims quickly announced their own mayoral candidate and Sol Mohammed wrote in the Iowa Muslim newsletter that:

In addition to the dhimmitude of local politicians Iowa Muslims have been exploiting taxpayer funding and state and federally funded institutions to promote their political, social and educational Jihad. An example of the degree to which Muslims are attempting to main stream Islamism in Iowa can be seen in the fact that The 1st conference of the Islamic Foundation of Iowa did not take place in a mosque, but was held at at the taxpayer funded Central Middle School in Waterloo Iowa, despite having being a religious gathering with unmistakeably Islamo supremacist agenda : “The practical structure of building an Islamic society -Come to know the future visions and plans for Muslims in Iowa.”

In 2003 a Reza Aslan, then a visiting professor at Iowa U, and a stealth Islamist, overtly declared that Muslims felt more loyalty towards the Umma (the worldwide community) then the United States:

“As a Muslim American, you belong to two communities,” said Aslan, who often takes the role of spokesman for Iowa Muslims.

MIM: The use of a public school premises for such a Muslims only event does not violate Iowa laws regarding the separation of church and state, and is being exploited by Islamists who are able but (The conference included ‘adult and children’s lectures in english and Bosnian and a sleepover )

The way the Muslims obtained the premises is another example the radical Islamist strategy at work which Dr. Daniel Pipes refers to as ’stealth Islamists’ ,whose strategy is to get Muslims into positions in public and political life who can promote an Islamist agenda aimed at acheiving the implementation of shari’a by undermining the system from within. This type of ‘cultural Jihad’ can prove more effective in destroying America through the physical Jihad of terrorist attacks. As Muslim Brotherhood founder Sheik Yusuf Qaradawi pointed out in 1995: ‘America will not be conquered by the sword - but by da’wa’.

Al Qawadawi ’s prediction is coming to fruition in Iowa. A case in point is the recent formation of a Ceder Rapids branch of the Muslim American Society, a group whose plans for America are in it’s name. The group made their announcement at a library and the Mayor, Kay Halloran, welcomed the Al Qaeda linked group with open arms:

“I want everyone to know how happy I am this
organization has chosen Cedar Rapids as its home,” she
said during the ceremony. “We are honored and delighted
to have you with us.”

For their part the MAS director made it clear that Iowa was on the fast track to becoming part of the Umma and the first state in their goal of a Muslim American Society:

It’s a perfect time to introduce the Muslim American
Society to the state of Iowa,” said Cedar Rapids resident

Just as Jesus cried outside Lazarus’s tomb before He raised Lazarus, so too we should be weeping today, not merely for the situation Israel finds herself in as her enemies draw closer, but more for the unbelief that attends these dangerous circumstances. In truth, we do not see the American administration any more guilty than the government of Israel in trying to find some false peace. Before PM Olmert, who apparently was elected by a knowing Israeli public that understood his plan to cede Israeli sovereign territory, there was former PM Sharon trying to do exactly the same thing. He paid for Gaza with his health, if not his life.

Now, life in Israel is extremely tenuous at best. One in Israel does not need a reminder from one elsewhere in the world to know just how dangerous it is. We do not need to list the antagonists again, for they are mentioned in each day’s news, repetitively. Neither do we need to re-examine the foreign western powers who hunger over the prospect of a “Palestinian” state, supposedly for the expectation of peace (but for ulterior motives that are poorly veiled).

“America, America, God shed His grace on thee.” This verse from that famous song is quickly losing its applicability. The American Christian church persona is, in reality, in a Laodicean / Pergamum state, with a remnant of true belief being suppressed. Since the United States Supreme Court rulings of the sixties, true Christianity has been under attack, and only by the grace of Almighty God, has it not been completely overwhelmed, yet.

America is not Israel’s hope. That is reserved to her Savior, the LORD most high. When it comes time to defend Israel in the most treacherous days, only her Almighty Sovereign will be able to act on her behalf, just as the Scriptures dictate. This is where it is all going, and it cannot be stopped.

The rest of the world is still in a replacement theology mode, from the Vatican still wanting “international” status bestowed upon Jerusalem, to the efforts of the “Palestinian Authority” and friends trying to press for a replacement statehood with no legitimate historical value other than that given by an historical attitude of antipathy and hatred towards Israel.

Scripture tells followers and disciples of Jesus Christ to witness to the world the need for forgiveness and faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died on the cross for our sins, was raised again from the dead, and sits at the right hand of the Father, awaiting the command to return to His people, His land, His Jerusalem. Until He returns, this is the specific commission to Christians. When true Christians look at the circumstances that Israel finds herself in, these Christians know that the time to finish the commission is drawing to a close, fast. Still, we need to be so occupied.

In the end, there will be no Christian defense of Israel, for those that are Christian in Israel’s period of refinement are in a state of such persecution, just as the Jews are, that it will mean death to even acknowledge one’s Christianity. Only the return of the LORD will put an end to these times. There is only one recourse: “Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, and be saved,” while the LORD can still be found.

In intercession I feel that I sense the heart of God yearning for His chosen people, The time seems to be now for the veil to be lifted and for them to, truly recognize their Messiah. This being true we know that demonic forces will be unleashed against them and a deceiving spirit will attack all those that have stood with Israel in the past. Our country is on the brink of quickly embracing such a delusion. The true Body of Israel-supporting Believers is the only hope for this country. As the “grafted-in, wild branch” we can only be one with Israel. I have a question for you Stan, that I have been thinking about for awhile. I admire Pres. Bush’s desire to have a democratic Iraq that spreads in the Middle East, but I am wondering if a democratic Iraq is Biblical. By that I mean, if Israel’s neighbors are going to attack her it doesn’t sound like they will be democratic nations. I think your musings about the future are true. Anyone who believes they can support those who wish to destroy the Jews and the state of Israel are in a heap of trouble. I believe the Bible and what you have said to some extent.I do not believe Israel is going to be destroyed in this Biblical Dispensation.I believe the next and imminent event will be the Rapture of the Church and then the Antichrist appears on the scene,God will deal with Israel His people righteously and they saved are his eternally.

Yes we are fearful of the probable future events that loom ever greatly over Israel and the U.S. God is in control of all of the major players that shape the future. His will be done ! Shalom! I’ve always been a supporter of Zionism. Many great Christians such as Harry Truman and Dwight Eisenhower have supported the idea of Israel to exist. America should have broken our dependency on Arab oil a long time ago. I feel very strongly that everytime someone in America buys gas, they support nations that want to destroy Israel. Lynn, thanks. I never supposed to think the falling away was the taking away. never does the Bible say that. and I know of no pre-tribbers that equate the two. I have been studying and looking for the meaning of the “deception”. Haven’t found it yet. ALthough it is crazy when you look around and see how many “born-agains” think that “Christmas” and the amount of fables associated with it are what makes them holy. Example, where does the Bible say 3 wise men? Answer: no where. We are in an ignorant culture. One that is ignorant of the Word and the Truth. Fellow Believers:

In these dark times of treacherous intrigue, we find ourselves wondering about the joy of Christmas in the Holy Land. The Christmas story is a Jewish one, yet it extends to all seeking its truth. It is a depiction of a Jewish maiden from Nazareth, called Mary by modern Christianity, whose obedience to the Word of the LORD she received in that winter of so long ago, placed her in a hallowed place of grace as she carried and delivered the Messiah, the Son of the living God in Bethlehem.

The story does not end there. Thirty years or so later, the man-child called Jesus is no longer a child, but is carrying His ministry as the Son of Man to the Jewish people. He bares record of His obedience to the Father in heaven and doing His will, and carried it to the cross. He was crucified and put to death in Jerusalem under such obedience.

In His interrogation with Pontius Pilate, Jesus revealed His purpose for being there. In John 18, we read: Pilate therefore said unto him, “Are you a king then?” Jesus answered; “you say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.”

This message of salvation was revealed to the Jewish nation first, but then extended to any who would believe on the name of Jesus Christ. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

His death on the cross ended His earthly ministry, and His resurrection and ascension transformed the relationship between Almighty God and mankind. Each person now, by faith and belief in Jesus Christ, has forgiveness of their sins, and by the redeeming work of Jesus, has access to the Father in heaven, and eternal life.

This is the true Christmas gift. The gift of eternal life given by Almighty God in His love through His Son, Jesus Christ, is extended by His grace and mercy to each of those in faith and belief. This gift is guaranteed by the shed blood of His Son, and sealed by the power of His Holy Spirit.

This is not the end of that story either, but instead the story is the beginning for all who come to believe in Jesus Christ as their LORD and Savior. The Christmas story is about faith and belief, love and obedience. It is Jesus’ story, and He invites you to become part of it. Have faith and believe in Him, responding to His love, being obedient by repenting and asking Him into your heart to be saved. In Jesus’ Name, we pray.

In this time of Christmas celebration, the place that should be in rejoicing over the returning King’s presence cannot celebrate, for the well known issues of the land of Israel prevent such things. Bethlehem, long assailed by the “Palestinian” community, has a mere shadow of the former Christian presence. Nazareth cannot celebrate either, for there is the darkness as well. Evangelical Christianity is just not welcome, for who dares to proclaim the salvation revealed through Jesus Christ. The Muslim community now makes Jesus to be one of theirs….go figure.

The true celebration of the Christmas story is in praising the Father of our LORD Jesus Christ, giving Him glory for sending Jesus Christ, not merely as a child in a stable in Bethlehem, but as the Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. In His humanity, He became as one of us to identify Himself with our existence, giving us hope in the love extended by the Father in heaven. His death on the cross and His resurrection paid for our reconciliation to Him through His grace. His soon return will place Him in Jerusalem as Sovereign over the world.

This is the true Christmas message, one that needs to be shared in these times of terrible treachery against Israel. Believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, and be saved. Then when the King returns to His throne in land of His people, we will be able to celebrate Christmas forever. Praise His Holy Name.

When I was asking her about something one day she came out with a statement that floored me: “I can NOT believe in a god that will NOT give me everything I want”. Just another thought…as to the Rapture: reread the scriptures that “give the REASON for the ‘Rapture’”. What is G-d doing at that time? (Temporally, forget about the THEORY of “letting Satan have free reign”.) Is The Lord not bringing ALL HIS to Himself? Do the scriptures say ANYWHERE that there are TWO such GATHERINGS? What happens to ALL THOSE in the Tribulation that are FAITHFUL to death and some who Remain til HIS coming? Is there ANOTHER Rapture for them? Remember the DEAD in the Lord Rise FIRST. So, then some are Raptured and THEN MORE DEAD RISE FIRST???

Funny how we forget that in the end times the majority of the church wil be in error. Really is a time for each and every believer to spend time with the Word of God and educated themselves. It is said that the spirit in us prays for us and our needs on a moment to moment basis. These are the prayers that are heard and acted upon. Each of us needs to be connected to those prayers that are sent up on our behalf. Far too many of us believe in the hope of recieving something that serves us or those we love, forgetting that the Potter has a plan and it might not look like what we think we want or need.
Isnt it correct that it is Jordan that owns half of Jerusalem(east) , on paper created by the world. And isnt also correct that Jordan ,the very Edom described in the Bible, is marked for its treachery towards Gods chosen people. Who else in the middle east is so very involved with the world finance, american investments, western education and so very well spoken. We are being taught to look in wrong directions by our enemy, in my opinion. Seems to me the next great politician that is to come from the East might be closer to home than Bible scholars have considered. thoughts?

Christ gave the answer about the great falling away. It is because of suffering tribulation, for his name along with false doctrine and false prophecy. Christ says…. “At that time” we will fall away and the love of most grows cold. Our wickedness, pride an arrogance play a big role in why we will fall away.

9Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.

Suffering persecution and tribulation is why the false report of peace and comfort to the “Church” will indeed be a stumbling block to those whose faith is weak. It builds a false sense of pride and arrogance as if we are entitled to skip out on suffering for Christ and “Israel” is who must suffer. Many who claim to know the Lord will indeed fall away…. I did not say it…

The Lord says they will because they were not prepared to suffer, they believed lies and deceptions from fale prophecy and wickedness and sin lead tem to fall away. But yet during that time the prevaling view in our self-absorbed Christianity at least here in America is that it is us who will be removed from suffering for his name.

There are many developments that may be signaling us that we are coming to the end. The apostacy in our Church, Iraq report, Iran sanctions, EU, Abbas & Olmert Talks, The United Nations initiative called the Alliance of Civilizations, EU Neighbor hood policy and many more. There are deals being made all across the board and we know that these nations making the deals will divide up God’s land.

TEL AVIV [MENL] — The Bush administration has blocked arms and technology transfers to Israel.

Israeli and U.S. sources said the State Department has blocked the transfer of weapons and technology to the Jewish state over the last three months. The sources said the halt reflected deteriorating relations between the two countries since the end of the war in Lebanon in August 2006.

“Nobody will say openly that there is a problem,” a government source said. “But there is a serious problem that reflects the marginalization of Israel in U.S. strategy.”

The unofficial suspension of U.S. arms deliveries began in late September, the sources said. They said the suspension halted the airlift of air-to-ground and other munitions conducted during and immediately after the Israeli war with Hizbullah.

If article is true, this is an action of the Bush administration. It is what it is. What will follow? What decision do we think any American adminstration will make if it is deemed that our national interest will be better suited in Iraq and else where by making concessions to Syria and Iran or any other enemy of Israel?

We should not be fooled in to believing we live in a non secularized country. Bible prophecy is clear. All nations come against Israel. We must continue to pray for mercy and not be arrogant and prideful nor delusional in our faith.

Charles I you stated: Before you quickly jump to call him weak or arrogant, consider that he will ignore the recommendations to give in and abandon Israel. He may not understand the ways of the God almighty and what our God has for him to do 100% ot the time (who of the Church does?) , but he will get this right. He will not abandon Israel the way Baker would want him to do.

If this article is true. What do you make of these current actions of this administration? We are basically cutting off or greatly limiting Israel’s ability to defend herself in the furture by blocking arms and technology unless Israel has another major supplier of arms and technology for defense?

He is Lord, yes the actions appear to be contrary to what we would want to happen between the U.S. and Israel. But consider the source of the reports. And consider that these “actions” if reported correctly, began before the Iraq report from the BakerIII folks. And as for Bush? Mr. Bush, himself, while leading a defanged administration, will continue a policy of working in the background. If we would search the secular news we would see two sides. The first side says that the administration is abandoning Israel and show the evidence as mentioned in your comeback. The second side reveals notions that the admin was deliverately slow in vocalizing policy when Israel was provoked from southern Lebanon. And that America is still an ally of Israel. Different viewpoint, same support. (We walk a fine line, though, and we will be forced to abandon that policy eventually). There are many examples of this schism. Two schools of thought. Two viewpoints. One truth. Mr. Bush WILL do what HE wants to do, regardless of the BakerIII report. It is his nature,, good or bad,, to have the final say and act the way HE wants to act after all the recommendations and criticisms have been heard. Which brings us back to where we were before.
I do not say or believe that prophecy will not be true. Just the opposite. I understand that America and Israel will not have the friendship that we have shared in the past. America will be counted among the countries of the world that do not support israel. And as for Israel and her military might………………we have no idea how potent a strike will occur when the time is right. Israel is armed to the teeth.

Why? In your perspective, Why is Bush above taking actions against Israel that his majority council says would be the best course of action for American National Interest? I am not saying he will or will not abandon Israel on the recs of the Baker report….but Bush is a politician and we also have many prophecies that may indicate otherwise during this “late hour”.

If the article is true, then as you suggested about the timing, that just shows there have been actions by his administration already in the works that would be hurting Israeli defense and possibly bolstering relationships with Iran and Syria for one among other purposes of turning the tide of insurgency in Iraq and other fronts, Of course in the public eye that could never be admitted. But there are many close door meetings and we are talking about the secular world of Politics.

I am wondering why such faith in the stance that Bush is not capable of doing such things. He will be used as the Lord wishes just like Pharaoh.

If we see so much scandal amongst our own evangelical leaders who lead congregations, why should we think a politician would not do what is in his or her own best interest when faced with the worst public ratings in recent history?

Israel is the “apple of G-d’s eye.” Our nation will be judged if our government has a hand in forcing Israel to divide its land. It says so in His word, and I believe it. All we can do is pray and trust G-d with our lives. I will remain in prayer for our government and leaders. They may or may not do things the Lord’s way. G-d has ultimate control.
