And the LORD said to Abraham:
“Lift your eyes now and look from the place where you are—northward, southward, eastward, and westward; for all the land which you see I give to you and your descendants forever. … Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” (Genesis 13:14,15,17)
Do you support God’s purposes for the nation of Israel and its land?
Do you oppose the discredited and immoral “land-for-peace” process, the unjust and unworkable “two state solution,” the outrageous international demand that Israel stop building Jewish towns and restrict the growth of Jewish families – aka “settlement activity” – in Samaria, Judea and Jerusalem?
Are you angered by the plot to divvy up the land the LORD God gave exclusively and forever to His Chosen People, and to which He has been restoring them through miracle after miracle for more than one hundred and fifty years?
Are you incensed at the bullying tactics employed by the international community, increasingly led by the United States, to coerce little Israel into handing over to antisemitic Arabs the cradle of Jewish nationhood, the land settled by Israel’s founding fathers, and the capital established by Israel’s greatest kings?
Are you enraged at the arrogance and the shameless presumption of your national leaders, who in all of the above ways try to prevent or reverse Israel’s restoration as ordained and set in motion by Almighty God, and who would dare to act against the apple of His eye?
Are you wondering just how loyal to be to your own nation as it persists along this path? Or do you fear the judgment of heaven that appears primed to be poured out on your country?
Does your heart beat with a love for Zion, for Zion’s God, Zion’s Deliverer, Zion’s soon-coming King? And yet, you are frustrated by a sense of helpless impotence in the face of all these things?
Untold numbers of Bible-believing Christians are wrestling with similar feelings and convictions. Like you, many are looking around, almost desperately, for an appropriate and meaningful way to counter the tireless global assault on the Jewish people and their land.
How do we respond? Yes, we know we should pray to the God of heaven and earth to rise up and deliver His people, and that it is He who needs to command and direct us. For “unless the LORD guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.” We certainly need to pray more. It’s vital that we do.
But what other response can we make? Isn’t there also something physical, material and, if necessary, sacrificial we can do to REALLY make a difference?
I believe there most certainly is. Together with our prayers, there is an extremely meaningful, significant and effective act we can perform. In assessing it, we can take a leaf from the book of our Israeli friends.
By far the most effective Jewish response to efforts to drive their people from their ancient land – whether by pogroms, riots or the murder of Jews – has been to increase their presence on the ground in those very places where violence and terror have been directed against them
Since long before the founding of the State of Israel, this has been the most powerful and enduring Zionist response: The more of us you wound and kill, the more of our ancient land we’ll settle. Like a thriving vine, spreading from the Golan Heights through the Galilee, across the mountains of Samaria and Judea, along the Coastal Plain and deep down into the Negev, we see the lasting fruit of this irresistible Zionist response.
As Christians we are children of Abraham by faith. And as Christians we can likewise, physically, respond.
May we invite you, in fact urge you, as the nation of Israel is backed against the wall in front of the whole world, and as its leaders’ knees are in danger of giving way under the unprecedented international pressure to relinquish for all time the heart of their people’s home, that you now give the most serious prayerful consideration to coming up to Jerusalem, this year?
The Feast of Tabernacles is a time appointed by God for His people to meet with Him in Zion. During this Feast, from October 3 to 10 this year, the International Christian Zionist Center will be sponsoring its annual celebration which will include a strategic series of exploits.
Together with hundreds of believers from other nations around the world, we will be traveling through the length and breadth of Israel, placing our feet firmly on these historical and biblical Jewish lands, and taking a stand against the efforts of our nations and leaders to steal them from the Jews.
As we go, we will be reminding God of the promises that He Himself made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give this land to them and their descendants after them, FOREVER.
Join us! And go out into your churches and neighborhoods, into the highways and the byways, and invite your friends to come with you. The more we are:
• The stronger the message of solidarity and friendship we will send to the beleaguered, globally despised and rejected people of Israel.
• The more effective will be the message of outrage and refutation we send to the halls of power in our lands, and
• The louder the message we will send to heaven, as we call upon the LORD to bare His holy arm in the sight of the nations of the world and come to save His people and their land.
Fellow believers, I know all about the global economic slowdown. I know about the expenses such a trip can involve. I know it could really cost you to do this. But I also know, as you do, that the time for mere words and verbal expressions of support is over. Instead of wringing our hands or shrugging at the immensity of the issue and just carrying on with our own lives, let’s ask God to provide for us so that we can act together at this most critical moment, and REALLY DO SOMETHING.

A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)
May God guide you as you pray, and as you plan.
It has long been a desire of mine to walk in Israel. I will certainly pray, but unless the Lord makes a way, there is no way I could actually do it. But I will continue to pray that the Lord directs our leaders hearts to not turn away from His chosen people and that the ICZC event will be wonderfully productive!
Thank you for this blog. God Bless you and your efforts!
Sue, A desire was put into my heart several years ago to walk the land. I did the same as you and looked first at my pocketbook as a determining factor. After many years of saying the timing wasn’t right or the finances weren’t there, HE provided a way. It was without a doubt the most awesome experience of my life, a LIFE CHANGING experience for me. That was in 2005, I returned in 2008 and will be going again in 2010 Lord willing!! I think it is the duty of every believer who professes a love and passion for HIS land and HIS people to make that pilgimage! HE is our healer, our shepherd, our King and our provider. I will earnestly pray that a way will be made for you and all who believe to see, feel and walk that glorious peice of earth. I remain homesick to this day, waiting to see here again. May God bless you. Thanks Stan, once again for the unabated truth.
Thanx Stan… I have burden for Zion… i may not be able to make it in October but still if there is anything i can, i’l do… true Christian and true Jew are bound together… I’m glad there are millions of black African Christians as myself who truly love Zion… We acknowledge that Salvation is of Jew… I pray that that those who know their G-d, shall be strong and do exploits… Your very existence as nation it is an irrefutable prove of G-d truth… I know for sure that one day, all those nations that hate you will repente and given up their lies and religion on that coming Day when all those nations will be defeated by tiny Israel…
Hi Stan
If only the Lord would make a way for me to be there! I long for Israel, feeling in my heart of hearts that it is ‘home’ to me but with so may others it isnt a case of little money but no money at all for anything other than food but I shall pray with you as always and ask the Lord for a miracle. May hundreds of thousands hear your call and respond to it by ‘going up’ to Jerusalem and being seen . For the rest of us wehave to confine ourselves to fighting in the spiritual realm unseen by any but the Lord.
May God continue to bless and keep you and your family Stan, and continually resource and equip your ministry.
Love Linda

Unless by some miraculous outpouring of God’s blessing I too am financially confined to praying and fighting the spiritual fight, back home in South Africa. It really is a shame that something like money has to prevent so many people who would LOVE to be there, from going. Ironically many people who do have loads of money, don’t have any interest in Israel at all. Oh well I’m trusting God will eventually make a way for my family and I to one day set foot where our Messiah walked, died and rose again and from where He will soon reign forever. Praise you Almighty God of Israel and bless all those that are able to make it, that they may experience your Presence and anointing like never before, and that they may show the Israelis how much we all love and support them. Be good representatives on behalf of us who can’t make it. God bless you all.
How I would love to be there in Israel. To feel such a strong desire to be there in Israel, but disabled by lack of funds is like being in chains from Satan himself. A small group of people who love Israel have a Facebook group - Friends of Israel; one of us has already made the trip, one is there now, but the rest of us ………………………………In the meantime, we will fight on , thanking G_d that there are brothers and sisters all over the world we stand together with and long for day we are called to Him!
I just want to quietly say that prayer is absolutely one of the most powerful and proactive things we can do; it is really doing something. From our corners of the globe, every single word prayed becomes a stone laid in the road being prepared for the Lord (see Isaiah 40:3). Is it accurate to say that many of us who pray for Israel do so in isolation? (I have one other person in my circle of family and friends with a heart for Israel.) I hope Stan that you will forgive our hand wringing; please know how important your website is as a place where we can come to voice concern, to feel connected (share scripture, prayer, encouragement etc)…and then, rather than shrug our shoulders and return to our lives, we square our shoulders and say, “Right. Back to the job.” For all of our talk, your website helps those of us who ’stand in the gap’ to keep on keeping on.
It would be meaningful beyond words to give back by coming and physically standing with Israel right now. In times like these, one of the most important questions we can ask is, “Lord, am I in position? Am I standing right where You want me?” For some of us, being ‘in position’ will indeed include travelling to Israel, physically walking in the land- and lack of funds will be no obstacle to God; He will make a way. For others of us, the physical journey will come later. The most important thing is to press in to the Lord, not stepping an inch away, and to keep checking that we are ‘in position’.
While it is very moving to read of readers’ love and longing for Israel and Jerusalem, I hope you will understand the spirit in which this is meant when I say there is nothing like hearing about the love for their homeland and their eternal city from the heart of a Jew. This is not a link, but the speech Caroline Glick made when she was named a Guardian of Zion (entitled “Jerusalem, the Eternal Frontline”) is a piece that lodged itself right at my core and reminded me why it is that those of us who stand with Israel, do.
Years ago I read a story about an elderly British pensioner who lived on very limited funds. Yet she still managed to put some of her small change in a jar each week to save to (get this) buy a car for someone in her community who needed their own transport and just couldn’t afford it. This lady, who didn’t drive or own a car, over the years saved enough to buy no fewer than six cars for those in need around her. The power of small change. Anything is possible.
Hi Stan and Everyone,
Continuing to be registered ‘in faith’ to come to the Feast of Tabernacles according to the Will of G-d. If anyone is so led, feel free to visit a sister website to Witness To The Nations.
P.S. Stan - You will be able to see the unhindered pic I sent you via email correctly now if you choose to visit. I would like to link Jerusalem Watchman and Israel My Beloved to the site; please let me know if this is ok.
Amazing how it’s been put on my heart to visit Israel to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles and I see your article! Yet, God willing, I had planned on next year. Maybe I can convince my wife/kids to come with me by then, but either way I plan to be there. God bless.
What if each of us with this longing asked those who love us to contribute to our going? Do any of you who have posted attend a fellowship/congregation regularly? Would your brothers and sisters in Christ send you as an ambassador?
Stan, Is there partial funding through ICZC via scholarship or needs-based provision to assist those who want to come?
We went in 2007 and it was life-changing. Our son, who turned 20 in May, has had a growing desire to go, so Leslee took him - using some of his college fund - for Shavuot (Pentecost). 12 days in the Land on a frugal budget, staying at hostels, using public transport - you feel very safe on a Egged bus with IDF soldiers who are armed! - and blessed on all sides by people from all over the world!!
Stan, it is the Feast of Tabernacles, of Booths, not the Feast of Hotels… would citizens open their homes for guests, as it seems directed in Scripture? Another way to make the trip more affordable.
Let us start PROFESSING:
THIS YEAR in Jerusalem!!
