Back in my old homeland we had a saying when we prayed for ‘traveling mercies.’
“Remember,” we admonished one another, “the angels that protect you when you drive will take their securing hands off your car when you exceed the speed limit or otherwise break the law.”
I was reminded of this as I read two headlines in The Jerusalem Post Tuesday (June 9).
‘North Korea threatens nuclear offensive,’ warned the first one, earlier in the day.
And a little later: ‘US can shoot down any missile North Korea launches’ said US Defense Secretary Robert Gates.
My first thought: “I wouldn’t sound so cocky and sure if I were you, Mr Gates. God’s protection over your nation is surely being lifted as your new president moves hard and fast to launch policies that threaten the existence of the State of Israel and the survival of the Jews.”
Has that protection already been taken away? Could a North Korean nuclear missile somehow penetrate the United States’ compromised security and rain death and horror upon the people of that land?
Were I an American, I would be in deep repentance and intercession on behalf of my nation. In fact, even though I am not a citizen of the United States, I find my heart crying out to heaven for mercy for her.
My only caveat: That mercy for the United States does nothing to further endanger and harm the nation of Israel.
Stan, I thank GOD for Americans who love Israel and stand with her, even in the midst of America’s pride and arrogance. As an American, I am so deeply grieved at what has happened to her; however, I became a teenager in 1958. I have lived through the 60’s/70’s/80’s/90’s and what I have seen has been a continual disregard for the GOD of the Bible…..It has seemed to be like a snowball, continuing to grow larger and larger as it rolls down a giant mountain’s peak.
This did not happen overnight….we all know this….but now—as you, Stan, and David Wilkerson have said…..we have reached the point that GOD’s Judgment is no longer at the door…..it has stepped threw the threshhold and is upon us.
I fast and pray, on behalf of Israel and America….and yet at times, honestly where America is concerned, I almost feel like a hypcrite crying out on my America’s behalf……Americans have heard about Jesus…multitudes and have spat in His face and turned a deaf ear–many have laughed at those who were willing to pay the price.
It is my most earnest prayer that America’s Christian Zionists will fast and pray, in greater measure than we have ever done before…….
I cry out for individual conviction in every heart in every home in America….I believe that is the only thing that can turn the tide, that America might be spared.
“Thank you, HOLY SPIRIT, for living inside of Your people, in Israel, In America, and around the world….for Your comfort/Your protection/Your provisions. Thank You for keeping a song in our hearts…for the peace that we find….only when we rest in YOU. In Jesus - Yeshua’s holy name I pray. amen and amen”
Right, and since I moved back to the USA I am in deep emotional trouble myself for the last few weeks if this was the right move.
I just read the “You scare me, Mr. President” letter and more and more Americans are becoming aware of what that President really is up to.
It is in fact interesting that Obama threatens N. Korea but gives a free pass to Iran. I personally think, we are to go to the fences and urge the people to repent because it can happen any moment now that someone is pushing the button and the final stage has been opened and darkness will cover the earth.

I think any nation that becomes too proud in their own ability and achievements, and forgetting the God who chose to bless them, will come to ruin. God bless Israel and may he have mercy on all the nations of the world, more so America who seems to eb spearheading this division of God’s eternal land.

Tammy, I’ve also had that thought enter my mind. What should christians in America do now that the USA is outrightly trying to destroy Israel? I can’t stand living here anymore! I am now living in a country who has turned it’s back on the nation I love, ISRAEL! The Lord speaking to His people in Babylon says, “Come out from among her!” I still believe America is Mystery Babylon!
Stan, I agree whole heartedly and I am a native born American that so dearly loves her country. I have been crying out for mercy for the Believers in Jesus Christ but Stan, I cannot ask God to hold back his judgment from perverse and wicked leaders who murder unborn babies with abandon, turn their backs on homosexuality and all of the other moral issues but Israel…. that is another story altogether.
No man or being can curse what God has chosen to bless and no blessing can be reversed by any other than the participants of the blessing. Balaam’s Donkey is a good example of it but you know that the years of God’s judgment against Israel is ready to draw to a close and He longs to be the Husband of his dear wife, Israel.
We are, as a body of Christ, drawing to a close the Age of the Church and so we will say adeau to all who remain but before we go, we have some judgment to go through in the House of the Lord. Pray for us Stan, that we will endure to the very end and that the Glory of the Lord will shine once again in this land and in our hearts.

The truth hurts sometimes but someone has to tell it … I would like to offer a bit of truth myself Math 13;30 let them all grow together and in the end i will send forth my angels and gather FIRST the Tares and bind them into bundles to be burned .. God will protect all those who beleive in Jeshua just as he has with Danial in the lions den , Shadrach &, Meshack and Abednego if the firey furnace and He will lead His present day children out of bondage in these last days also .. Stan, I heard a speaker say recently that he believes America has crossed over that line in the sand from which there is no return.
I believe Obama IS God’s judgment on America, and that Obama will bring this country down. A chill goes up and down my spine when I hear the arrogance in the statement that America can shoot down any threat from North Korea, or anywhere else for that matter. I dread seeing the rebuttal to that.
It’s a sad, sad, thing that has happened here. It breaks the heart of every believer. Not one of us would ever have been able to anticipate the baseness to which America has stooped.

Yes, America is out from under the protection of the wings of God!. I believe the reason is because the so called churches of today have written their own Gospel, saying they have replaced Israel. Salvation has come to the gentiles because of Israel, and Israel can never be replaced, there is a remnant of Israel that is holy and righteous because they stand 100% in agreement with Gods word, which is His only begotten Son Jesus that was made flesh to dwell among us. The gentile church is not the bride of Christ, they are the bridel party, the bride is, was and will always be Israel!!!!! I believe the rapture is a time for the bridel party to be caught up to prepare for the bride to enter and when the wedding is completed than the Lord will return to the earth to rule and reign with his chosen bride and the bridel party in Jerusalem for 1000 years of peace!, and then satan with and all unbelievers that are against Lord Jesus Christ, will be cast into the lake of fire forever.
It is the only way to have a world free of lies and deceit.!!! Even so come quickly Lord Jesus. Rev 22;20 Bring a world full of righteous truth forever. Amen !!!!!

Stan Even though I am temporarily a citizen of the US I am first and foremost a Citizen of the kingdom of Christ. Just a Israel reached a point of no return several times in it’s History where they were a greater liability to God’s plan than an asset! America has reached that point now! Just as God saved a remnant of the faithful in the midst of the judgment that fell on the nation as a whole! God will save those who He needs to fulfill His will for the end times! I have been preparing my family for over 20 yrs for what has begun. I don’t know if we will survive physically but then that isn’t the point is it!
We have been in a continuous state of discontent at seeing God’s will ignored as a whole even by the vast majority of the church. We stood by as over 40,000,000 - 60,000,000 babies where murdered depending on who’s stats you go by. Have you ever thought of what their Guardian angles said as they reported back to Jesus on their development!!!
Now that Americas financial freedom is being taken away now large groups are talking about civil disobedience, with holding taxes, etc. Where they when Row verses Wade was decided. How long do you think it would have taken to reverse it is the church stop working or paying taxes until it was reversed!!
I guess that shows what our priorities have been for several decades now! God warned Israel to turn from their Idols for 30 - 50 years by Isiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Etc. Even after the Northern kingdom was taken away for good Judah ignored it!

God’s Judgment has already started for America and it will not be stopped or even shortened. Except for the remnant that God will save in the midst of it America will not survive as a nation.
We will probably be divided first after tremendous blood shed and anarchy, Then we may even get a breather until God put’s it in the heart of the anti Christ to finish us off! Tens of millions of good Americans will die many of them fighting for a good and Nobel cause to try and save America! Nothing to be ashamed about in that either, It’s a good death and God will honor those who don’t understand their fighting His will. Just as in our first Civil war.
However America is the Great Whore Babylon and must be knocked off the beast to free it from being led by Her before it can turn on Her and destroy Her!
We have killed 40,000,000+ of our first burn as an offering to the God of convenience (Baal)! We have decked ourselves with every precious bobble and toy. WE have lived deliciously and gone a whoring with all the kings of the earth as we sold out the souls of our Allies to their enemies to feed our own lusts!
WE have thrown His word to the side and made our own way and are determined to do what is right in our own eyes!
The problem isn’t that God is no longer for us! The problem is that we haven’t been for Him. Or cared about what is important to Him for so long now, we don’t even know what it means anymore!!!
Our sins are so numerous and ingrained, We don’t even remember what we are repenting from anymore. The leaven of the world and the Pharisees has leavened the whole lump.
As I said we don’t know if we will survive but we pray for God’s will to be done and for His kingdom to come! What ever that means for us here and now will be worth it. We weary of this world as it has become and see the end as light at the end of the tunnel!!

I guess it is all a matter of perspective if you love this world as it is the end is a tragedy! If you see the reign of Christ as your dream come true this world stands in the way of your dream! To where can you run in these perilous times?
The Bible calls us to Stand On The Rock which is higher than
all the troubles which will beset the world. “The Name of the Lord is a strong
tower” we rush into it and are saved.
Daily, I pray for the USA and Israel. Daily I beg the Lord, Jehovah, to strengthen
the true, remnant, Church. It seems the Church has lost its right to be heard
because the gospel has been watered down and there seems to be more of the world in the church than “Church in the World”. We can’t run anywhere else but to the Lord; don’t go looking around for a safe place - stand still and see the
Power of the Lord God Almighty. Moreover, “Be still and know that I AM God!”
Pray that the remnant of the True Church of Jesus Christ will stay strong; pray, too, that the apostacised church will experience deep, deep repentance for its gross
sin and worldliness. It seems that much of the church has been side-tracked onto the broad road which leads to destruction. Pray, dear Americans, pray as never before and see His victory. Listen for the Trumpet Sound and be prepared to meet your God, without shame and guilt.
“It’s not by might, nor by power BUT by My Spirit says the LORD.” Be faithful, as He is faithful.

God has a certain curse for those who would divide Israel. Obama’s insistance that this MUST be done places him in the party of the antichrist. Netanyahu should NOT allow “land for peace”. Jerusalem, indeed, all of Israel is Israel’s, not the Palestinians. Palestiians do not belong there, and are under God’s curse for beiing there, and for cursing Israel. True Christians will support Israel, not the Palestinians. DO NOT TRUST Obama.
