Repeatedly described by both Democrats and Republicans as the most critical US elections ever, the Obama-McCain race swept hundreds of millions of people around the world into the vortex that resolved on November 4 into the beginnings of what will soon be a new administration.
Since that date, the media has portrayed the president-elect as an FDR (Time Magazine) and as a leader who should take a leaf out of Abraham Lincoln’s book (Newsweek); impressing this truth upon America’s citizenry and much of non-American mankind: That having won an extraordinary contest, the world’s new most powerful man is now expected to impact this planet in an extraordinary way.
We are all watching him. We are all counting the days until his inauguration. And we are all wondering about how Obama will approach and engage the issues closest to our hearts. For a majority, it is the economy. For a great many, it is the war on terror. For a relative handful - the remnant of the Jewish people and a few concerned Christians - it is the security and survival of Israel.
Obama is carefully pulling his team together, with each announced appointment giving rise to reams of analyses and conjecture. So far we know that the following people are on board or are being considered: Defense Secretary - Robert Gates, a Republican moderate; National Security Adviser - James Jones, former commander of NATO and US forces in Europe and popular among both Democrats and Republicans; Treasury Secretary - Timothy Geithner, head of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; Head of National Economic Council - Lawrence Summers, a member of the Clinton administration; Health Secretary - Tom Daschle, former Democrat Senate Majority Leader; Attorney General - Eric Holder, a senior member of the Clinton administration; Secretary of State - Hillary Clinton; Homeland Security Secretary - Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano.
Much, probably most, of the focus thus far has been on those appointments that will work in the economic realm. While the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan were a major issue for most of the presidential campaign, the financial meltdown that took place just a few weeks prior to election day, followed by the ongoing market instability, made and maintained this as the number one point of interest and concern.
As far as the question of Israel is concerned, Obama is being advised and encouraged to move early and quickly to try and implement a policy that will see the Israeli-Arab conflict grappled with and finally settled.
Who Obama’s Secretary of State will be is of course particularly significant in this regard. Clinton’s appointment to the powerful post has not yet been confirmed, but looks increasingly likely. Diplomats who may surround the secretary appear set to include members of the Clinton administration’s Middle East Team like Martin Indyk, Dennis Ross, Dan Kurtzer and Aaron Miller.
Whoever they are, they will surely be committed to the “two state solution” - the euphemism coined by the Bush administration for stealing land from the Jews to give to the Arabs.
The question is, what level hardball will they play - just how hard will they be prepared to press Israel?
And when Obama’s team comes to push, who will they be pushing against?
The answer, according to the latest polls, will be Bibi’s team.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin (Bibi) Netanyahu is on course to return to power on February 10 - just three weeks after Obama moves into the White House.
Around him, depending on how they do in the Likud primaries, will be men like Benny Begin, Ze’ev Jabotinsky, Moshe Ya’alon, Dan Meridor, Assaf Hefetz, and Uzi Dayan.
Some of these men are more hawkishly Zionist than others. Begin, the son of former Prime Minister Menachem Begin, is known as a man of unbending principles. His father was one of the only Israeli leaders courageous enough to stand up to an American president, and Benny Begin himself resigned from the Likud in opposition to the “Disengagement” from Gaza. He should help to strengthen the backbone of a Netanyahu government against Obama and Clinton.
Other good men are in the wings. People of the stature of Natan Sharansky and Effie Eitam. The former has reportedly indicated that he will not enter the Likud. The latter would like to but faces opposition to his membership.
Things will change in the coming weeks - everything is in flux really until January 20 on the American side and February 10 on the Israeli.
As we count down the days to the inauguration of the man it seems almost every nation on earth rejoiced to see win, and to the prospective election in Israel of a man virtually no-one on earth wants to see win, we should certainly pray that God’s will be done here on earth, as it is in heaven.

We live in frightening but interesting times, surely in would be good for Bibi to have strong men around him, with them he may be able to stand some of the pressure that surely will come.

We have mutual friends in John & Marie Lent. Perhaps the Lord will not allow President elect Obama to serve even a singel day.
Below is a dream the night of the elections and a word about dividing the Land.
“Civil War is Coming to America”
I had a dream November 4th the night of the general election I called “Two Elephants in the House”. Within a few days, the Lord corrected me on one point and expanded the interpretation and brought back impressions that I had during the dream.
About two weeks later, the Spirit also brought to me a Word He had given me dating back to January 2007, called,
Who are we to divide “Your Land”?
It is not my intention to bring fear on anyone but simply speak what I believe that the Lord is showing me with regard to a Civil War breaking out in America. This grieves my spirit, I do not wish to see the hardship that is coming upon America,
After sharing this dream, word and their connection at a local prayer group, I went back to my seat and could do nothing but weep before the Lord.
The following has the dream and the word. Both of these appear separately on this website but for convenience and the ability to see the connection I have put them in to the order of sequence.
“Two Elephants in The Houseâ€
11-3-08
The night of the election, I went to bed at 10:15 PM after seeing that Senator Obama appeared unbeatable and destined to become the next President of the United States.
I had a dream and woke up at 3:30 AM.
In the dream, we were in a large house, we opened the doors because we Knew they were coming and Two Elephants came through the doors.
They were going from one room in to another and at one point the phone rang and one of the Elephants picked up the phone.
As the Elephant picked up the phone, we thought, how could this happen?
(Please understand, we were not asking the question, “how could an elephant pick up a phone” but rather we were asking, with the election being decided, how could they be called upon to lead our country)
We kept opening doors and closing doors that allowed and even guided the Elephants in to different parts of the house.
There were several of us involved in this process.
Eventually, we opened the front door and the Elephants exited.
The impression we all had was one of excitement, wonder, and gleeful amazement, we were all completely astounded.
There was exhilaration, excitement and we were awed by these Two Elephants, they had a wild majesty about them. We all knew that we had been very privileged by their presence.
It is my belief, that the “Two Elephants†are Senator John McCain and
Governor Sarah Palin.
Initially thought the house was the White House but later felt the Lord correcting me. This was a smaller house, and felt it to be a miracle that these “Two Gigantic Elephants” could move so easily through such a confined area.
The confined area could represent the people’s choice vs. the Lord’s desire, that the Lord had made a way where there seemed to be no way. (the confined area is the very small area, between the people’s wishes and the Lord’s will)
Those two words came into my spirit, “Wild Majesty”, believe that the word Wild in this instance reflects their views when compared to man’s wisdom and the word Majesty interprets as God ordained.
The phone that one of the Elephants picked up, I believe was “The Call to Lead the Country.â€
It is my strong belief from the impressions that I received, that circumstances will present themselves that will enable Senator McCain and Governor Palin
“To be called upon to lead our country!â€
Must also add, in the dream, we were all still focused on the elections so it was not an extended amount of time when the call came in and the one elephant answered the phone.
I believe that Senator Obama will NOT serve as the next President of the United States.
We kept opening and closing Certain DOORS that both allowed and directed them through the house, this could be continued intercessory prayer before the Lord and this was guiding them to finish their calling and their course.
When the Elephants finished, they left us in the house, yet we were not sad or dismayed in any way, as though we had expected them to do this very thing, all of us who were observing all of this and involved in opening the doors were extremely Blessed!
It was our impression that the Two Elephants were headed out to accomplish what they were called, the end impression we all experienced was one of Great Joy and not sorrow!
When I reread the dream, it could almost be interpreted as having taken place, but that is NOT the impression that I had during the dream.
So, my one question to the Lord, has this dream taken place or is it a future event?
Without any doubt, this is a Future Event!
If this plays out the way I am understanding it from the Lord,
there will be a Civil War in America!
America will be divided both individually and physically!

Just a couple of weeks after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, the Lord spoke to me about why it had happened. He gave me a very direct word concerning the tearing away of the Jews from one of their towns, the Land was given over to the Palestinians, this was a direct result of America badgering Israel to giving up the Land.

Who are we to divide “Your Land†and to make Your people homeless?
Who are we to take what God has ordained and brought into union that
America attempts to separate and cause divorce His people from the Land?
Who are we to say to the Lord, Israel is not Yours and
Jerusalem is not Your resting place?
For I Am married to My people and I have joined My People to My Land.
And what I have joined together let no man put asunder
for these are Holy to the Lord, these are My Remnant!
And I will visit them once more and will reveal Myself to them, and in their distress, they will cry out to Me and in their humility and remorse,
they will find the Holy One of Israel.

And because America has caused fear to come upon my people by their policies,
I will cause fear to come upon her people by My Name saith the Lord.
America, because you have dealt with My land and
My people with a heavy hand
so shall I deal with your land and your people with a heavy hand!
Israel, was given to the JEWS buy the LORD GOD & no man has the right to ask them to ever give up one foot of that land& the United States of America should stand on every word of the HOLY BIBLE.. I am proud to be an American. I served four years in the military. When I look at the red stripes on the star spangled banner, I see the blood of all who died serving this great nation. That said, I just cannot comprehend the idea of turning on our only true ally in the whole world. The United States was instrumental in the re-establishment of the nation of Israel. Most of the Christian brethren I am aquainted with agree with the importance of these holy grounds. This is the center of the Earth in importance. Our leaders must be blind. I think we should stand with Israel come hell or high water. The division of this land is a stupid idea to even consider. I do not think Obama will be on the side of the Jew. Bush, who claims to be a Christian, apparently has not taken the time to read his Bible.Our Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who will ever bring peace to the middle East, or the World. He is the ONLY hope for fallen mankind.

I cryed for a week after Obama was elected, because I know what he will try to do to Israel and we are in the big middle of his plan, and this scare;s the day-lights out of me and I thank it should everyone else too, because we;ve goneing to have judgement on America.
