The LORD sat enthroned at the Flood,
And the LORD sits as King forever.
(Psalm 29:10)
The following are some election eve thoughts I put down, starting Sunday morning Israel time, November 2, 2008:
I have to say that, 30-odd hours before the polls open in the United States for what has repeatedly been called America’s most critical presidential election, I am not discouraged; I am not in mourning; I am not anxious. I am not afraid.
One of two things is going to happen:
Either:
Senator Barack Obama is going to prove the overwhelming majority of pollsters right; he is going to trigger huge celebratory parties in newsrooms across the country that month after month after month systematically skewed their “reporting” to strongly favor the Democrat and sweep liberal public opinion along with them; he is going to consummate his victory in a multi-million dollar bash in Chicago, and he is going to reap the rewards of running the most expensive election campaign and putting out the most expensive political television ad in history. He will also enjoy the rotten fruit resulting from the poisonous deluge upended by his PR minions on Sarah Palin and her family. And, five-and-a-half years after Republican President George W. Bush removed the Muslim Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein Abd al-Majid al-Tikriti from power, Democratic voters who hate Bush will have put Muslim Illinois Senator Barack HUSSEIN Obama into the White House.
Or:
Senator John McCain is going to prove the overwhelming majority of pollsters wrong; he is going to spoil the huge celebratory parties planned for Chicago and for newsrooms across the country that systematically skewed their “reporting” to strongly disfavor the Republican; the New Mexico Sun News, which late October printed a “special collector’s edition” with the front page audaciously trumpeting the news that “Obama Wins” is going to have to print a retraction and apology; and together with Sarah Palin he is going to ensure that a bitter taste is left in the mouths of those who poured 600 million dollars into enabling his opponent to run the most expensive election campaign and bankroll the most expensive political television ad in history.
To put it another way:
Either:
We will see God’s judgement meted out and America slip into what some have warned will be nothing less than an abyss.
Or: …
We will see God’s mercy in action.
I must say I have a wonderful sense of tempered exhilaration at the thought of a McCain-Palin victory against all the odds - and it WILL be against all the odds. News of that win would bring me to my knees before the Almighty for two reasons:
First and foremost, He will have demonstrated His power in a way that will flabbergast - and deeply disappoint - hundreds of millions of people - the liberal, anti-God forces in America and the liberal, anti-God world which, according to a report carried in The Economist last week, was almost universally hoping for an Obama win. God will have bared His holy arm in the site of the nations of the world, and will have laughed the pundits to scorn, exposing the deception of the Democrats, .
And secondly, He will have extended His scepter of grace and mercy yet once more to the United States - that special, mighty nation which HE founded, established and positioned to be the major player on the world stage in our day.
It is hard to hope for such an outcome in the face of the almost unbroken wall of faces and voices that continue through these last hours of the race to predict a “given” victory for Obama.
Today (Monday) as I watch the crowds applauding and encouraging John McCain and Sarah Palin at the rallies in state after state, I feel their fear and hurt for what may lie ahead for their nation.
And as I watch the masses chanting and cheering for Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and jeering at every mention of McCain and Palin, I think of the multitudes that scoffed at Noah as he built his ark - laughing off any suggestion of a flood that would come to sweep them away.
“You don’t know what you’re rooting for,” I think. And although my flesh would want to say “you deserve what you will get” my heart is burdened with compassion for them too.
Which brings me to the question: What should Christians’ responses should be to an Obama win, and to a McCain win?
These are my thoughts:
If Obama wins, we must ready ourselves for war. Not physical war, but intensive spiritual war against the forces of hell that a Democratic White House and Capitol Hill are gearing up to unleash on Judeo-Christian America. The fields of battle, which have already seen Christians retreating from and being defeated on, include the sanctity of human life in the womb, the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman, the purity of God’s gift of sex, the innocence of our children’s minds, their right to pray in school; their belief in creation. But where we have until now paid perhaps more lip service than anything else to try and turn the tide, we should prepare to pay a probably far more painful price.
If McCain wins, we must prepare ourselves for war. From day one after the election, the last and most fateful thing we can do is heave a sigh of relief and return to life and business as usual. God will have granted an extension of His grace. We dare not take that for granted, not for a moment. The battle raging for the soul of America will only get hotter, more intense, in the coming four years. We will need to fight, to take full advantage of the breathing space we’ve been given.
And the most important fight of all will be the fight to secure the Jewish state of Israel against the massive global efforts to destroy it. This IS the most important fight because God’s curse is guaranteed on every nation that divides up His land and scatters His people. And His blessing is promised to every nation that blesses with His land and His people.
In fact, on day one after the elections Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will be returning to the Middle East yet again to push forward with her relentless effort to realize at least one, she hopes irreversible, phase in George W. Bush’s two-state-solution that aims to see a Muslim Arab state erected on the historical heartland of the Jewish people.
So - apart from your initial reaction to the final announcement of who has been chosen to be the next president of the United States, may IÂ urge you to respond in the same way no matter what the outcome?
1. Worship and praise the One Who raises up kings and brings them down.
2. Begin immediately to pray for the next leader of your land. [Important note: The Bible commands us to pray for those in authority over us. You don't have to pray for his success or prosperity. You can pray that his policies will succeed or fail. You can pray for him to stay in office, or be removed. You can pray for godly advisors to get to him, and for ungodly advisors to be kept away. Pray for him - and his vice president.]
3. Gird up your loins for war - determined to fight the fight of your adult lives to keep your land from sinking beneath the waves.
The final round of the pre-election Fox News Poll has been released just as I write these words. Obama for the first time wins 50 percent to McCain’s 43 percent. More than 40 percent of REPUBLICAN voters polled believe that Obama will win.
Yes, untold numbers of appeals are ascending to heaven as I prepare to post this. People are fasting, weeping, taking hold of God’s throne.
As I join my prayers with theirs the Bible verse that comes to my mind is:
Oh, clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:1-2)
And the rest of the Psalm with which I began this:
The LORD will give strength to His people;
The LORD will bless His people with peace.
(Psalm 29:11)
Fasting and praying until results are in. May G-d’s mercy be upon us!
EXCELLENTLY SAID! I couldnt have said it better myself. Thank you so much for sending. I will post it to my website to share with so many other. God bless you and God Help America and have mercy on us!
St. Stan…….I couldn’t have said it better myself……..you are so right in all you wrote…..of course, I pray that God will have mercy YET ONE MORE TIME on this wonderful, yet much misguided nation—–filled right now with people who want to believe a lie. My theme Scripture has been that God does bring down kings and raise them up……all according to HIS plans……HE alone is enthroned above all….. God have MERCY on the United States of America………..
Awesome article Stan. That pretty much says it all. Can’t help but thinking of Psalm 2.. God’s will be done. P.S. (voting tip) Eccl. 10:2
You see it in a far more positive way than I do, Stan. I agree 100% with you if Obama wins. But if McCain wins, it’s not all that much of a victory for us. He’s the most left-leaning Republican candidate we’ve yet had. The war you mention is going to be faced regardless of who wins. It’s a very somber time here. Like the calm before the storm. May God have mercy on us.
Should the L RD G D permit Obama to be elected it will be the last free election in America for it will be beginning of the coming “Judgement ” of the nations as stated in HIS word.
May the L rd G d bless and lead the people of the US and Israel at this critical time.
In reading 2nd kings chapters 22-23, I have been praying that our next president will have the spirit of Josiah upon him. As Josiah began extensive repairs on the temple, I pray that our next president will began extensive repairs in our nation. Josiah was a humbled king after hearing the word of God for the first time and I pray that our next president will be a humbled servant to our God. Josiah kept his eyes and his heart on the Lord and I pray that our next president will doo that same. If he does not, there is no hope for our nation which is crumbling down around us. Our only hope is in the Lord, our God and we must turn from our wicked ways. We are praying and fasting. Also praying for your country - my home.
well said Stan.
May God be with us all.

WITH ALL MY HEART I DO BELIEVE IF OUR FATHER LET;S OBAMA WIN, THAT WILL BE THE BEGINING OF OUR JUDGEMENT, FOR WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT IS DOING TO THE STATE OF ISRAEL, AND MY HEART HURTS FOR ISRAEL AND THE PEOPLE THERE AND HERE TO . I PRAY FOR ALL OF ISRAEL AND AMERICA, THIS IS A SAD TIME IN HISTORY
Excellent article! One only has to live in America to get the scope of what is going on. I am so distraught for America at this point in time. I am distraught for Israel because even our leaders are asking Israel to compromise, and divide. It is hard to pray for the enemies that are destroying and being used by the enemy, in their own blindness. It is what we are supposed to do, though. I pray that God would have mercy and give this undeserved USA another chance to live free, and to help Israel live rightfully in the land that God has given them.
The people that follow Obama are blinded and they do not even know it. The real contradiction is that, while the liberal left seems to want to let everyone ‘do their own thing’ it is one of the more legalistic, money mongering groups who do not want anyone to succeed but them and their own agendas. Another interesting point that I discovered as I was doing some research: Maitreya, the self proclaimed ‘messiah’ went to college in Scranton, PA…the same place that Joe Biden is from. Can anyone tell me if Maitreya is from Syria, or is he Syrian???
May God have mercy on the USA and Israel, and may the USA take a stand for what is just and true! I pray that we do not bend or waver. Lord, please open the eyes of the blind!
Mighty Lord, You are in control. However this all plays out, evryone will fullfill Your purpose, in Your time.
Stan,
I, too, pray for G-d’s mercy upon us. Even if Obama wins, I pray for the peace of G-d that passes understanding. I pray for every rift between family members and friends to be repaired. I pray for the ability to weather the coming storms.
I pray for the Strength of the Lord in the midst of those storms.
And, I pray that the repentance and humility of those of the Christians in the United States will be enough to stay His hand of discipline against us.
What I hear from people here are statements of rebellion against the laws of G-d, that a person would “dictate morals”. I hear the words “conservative Christian” spoken with anger and disgust. And I think, “Is this a sampling of what Jews have gone through all these centuries?”
I pray that more of G-d’s people will repent, will humble themselves before Him, and will beg for His mercy before the doors of the Ark are shut. May we be able to avoid the violent storms which would flood and overtake all we are in Him.
As Moses entreated the Lord on behalf of the Hebrews, “When the Egyptians hear about this -[and they will,] because it was from among them that you, by your strength, brought this people up - they will tell the people living in this land. They have heard that you, ADONAI, are with this people; that you, ADONAI, are seen face to face; that your cloud stands over them; that you go ahead of them in a column of cloud by day and a column of fire by night. If you kill off this people at a single stroke, then the nations that have heard of your reputation will say that the reason ADONAI slaughtered this people in the desert is that he wasn’t able to bring them into the land which he swore to give them. So now, please, let Adonai’s power be as great as when you said, ‘ADONAI is slow to anger, rich in grace, forgiving offenses and crimes; yet not exonerating the guilty, but causing the negative effects of the parents’ offenses to be experienced by their children and even by the third and fourth generations.’ Please! Forgive the offense of this people according to the greatness of your grace, just as you have borne with this people from Egypt until now.”
That’s my plea before the Lord - on behalf of Israel, and on behalf of the United States.
AMEN , Stan. But I do tremble for my nation as I know we are on the brink of the beginning of the end either way. So much has already been put in place for the end times while we as Christians have been asleep, or at least not as involved as we should have been since the ’60’s. I do pray that if God does grant us another chance after 9/11, that we as born-again Christians will fight for the lives of our family, friends and neighbors like our eternal lives depend on it. Actually, they do.
May God have mercy on America once more.
Thank you for praying and fasting for us in America.
Karen
Great article. I am praying for a Mccain win also. G-d help us if this wolf in sheeps clothing wins.
Great insight Stan. I do honestly believe that we should rather pray “His Kingdom Come”! For the we are most assuredly in the times of the end, and may God have Mercy on the Israelite nations, for they have turned their back on the Most High.. The “time of Jacob’s trouble” is here! May we worship Him in spirit and in truth.. His will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Love in Christ from South Africa.
Brother Stan:
I agree with every word in your article. In awe, I see the masses following afrer this man from nowhere. Just a few years ago this would have been impossible. These people are looking for a savior. A Messiah. As an American, and as a Christian, I am troubled by these seemingly unstoppable events unfolding in America, and thus the world. But, as you said, God will still be God, and will still be on the Throne, no matter what happens. Look up, for our redemption draweth nigh!
Thank you, Stan, for this well-written article. We read it at our prayer gathering tonight. We prayed for Israel, for you and for our election which will begin in less than 9 hours. We are grateful for your prayers. We praise God that He is in control. 2 Chron. 7:14 is our prayer for America and the world.
Hey Stan - great analysis. The thing that is most astonishing to me is how the media here in the UK has succeeded in obscuring basic facts about this election.
I talked to one UK believer yesterday who was astonished to learn that Sarah Palin is a born again believer. She said “I have never heard that.” However Obama’s “christianity” has been repeatedly talked about.
I could go on…but I am praying for the Lord to have mercy upon America and grant us a little more time.
McCain chose a Godly running mate in Palin, may God have mercy upon him today.
G D was not just joking when He said He would watch over Israel. Every time my beloved USA twists Israels arm to give away the land that G D HIMSELF gave her some catastrophic “natural” disaster occurs in the USA. This information can be found on a number of websites. “pray for the peace of Jerusalem, He will bless them that love her”
Stan, we are on our knees.
The host of Satan may come against us one way, but they shall flee ten ways.
He has not brought John and Sarah to this place in history to fail.
GOD sits as one who considers, like the clear mist of dew before harvest. A present shall be brought before the most high God, Isaiah 18.
Then shall he answer and the answer shall become a mighty shout from his people….Blessed be the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY….
Never cease to pray and give all thanks to our father which art in heaven for our victory is assured. We know how the story ends.
Shalom Stan. Well said my friend… whatever the results of this election, God is still in control and His will has been done for this time and season. On Wednesday morning here in North Carolina, I will still praise Him for his goodness and loving kindness to us. May God the Father continue to bless you and undergird you with his strength and power. God bless you and God bless the USA.
Praying for the peace of Jerusalem. Blessings
Rick
Thank you for this article. Every time I think of this election (which is all the time) I keep seeing the picture of Truman holding up the Chicago paper with the headline that read “Dewey Defeats Truman”. My heart wants this to be a prophetic vision and that all the liberal media will be in shock tomorrow morning.
On the other hand, as I was praying this morning, I felt a question in my spirit: If the election of Obama meant the salvation of a lot of loved ones due to hard times, how would I be praying?
So the only way I know to pray is “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done. And help me to respond in righteousness either way…”
Stan your words come like from the depth of our souls and it is with tears that we look to HaShem today pleading for another time of grace.
For the last years we have been enduring the stench of liberal TV-commentators here every evening and seen Europe going further down the abyss, part of it being because of a church paralyzed by me-myself-and-I-messages in the pulpit and a false picture of a humanistic god that could not be further away from the One true God of the Bible, the God of Israel.
Inspite of a conservative chancellor (who yet to heal her nation has to repent of her belief in the demonic 2-state-solution that G-d Himself opposes) spiritual sickness is deepening in Europe and we have seen more open (let alone hidden) antisemitism, more neonazism in local authorities, more teen crime, more abortions, more divorces, more perversion, more child neglect and murder, more economic challenges than ever and further rise of demonic activities - every form of abomination is making its home. It will become worse for the U.S. given the large territory she covers and the billions of people living within her if Barak Hussein Osama er Obama wins, given the background of his PLO-, Hamas and other muslim careeer sponsors and his pn but overlooked cheat on the Jewish people that has already proven when he gave his two-faced approached concerning Yerushalayim. Like the antisemitic lefties here, he appeals to the ego of man with his economy promises speaking so eloquently that even many Jews and Christians are blinded from his charisma. The German Spiegel has named him “Messiah” and redesigned photos of him with shining halos around his head, you get the picture how deceived people here are already.
Avinu HaShamayim have mercy on this wonderful nation who freed our last Jewish people from death camps and brought the message of G-d’s Kingdom to Europe inspite of its arrogance and did not get even tired to serve you and reach out to people who greatly oppsed them even during the last years when Europe was already too sophisticated to even listen. It is for the sake of the Nation of Israel and the few precious ones in His Remnant from the U.S. that we are on our knees before HaShem today pleading for another time of mercy before the judgement comes. Amen.
Thank you, Stan, for giving the insight as God has given it to you. I prayed this morning that He would have mercy. I also prayed that He would stop President Bush like He did Balam, before we are cursed beyond His mercy. Thank you for your prayers for our nation….May God have mercy on us all.
Stan,
A well articulated analysis. Whatever the outcome, may the righteous of the Lord unite in prayer, in discourse and in deed, to shine the light of Gd’s will upon our lands. May God bless and keep Israel and have mercy on the nations.
תודה רבה
Thank you Stan. I am here in NC as well prayer for God’s mercy and grace! I am also focusing on: John 14:27- Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. I am trying so hard NOT to be afraid, I know God’s will be done.
Hey Stan
May the Lord God Of Israel Bless& Keep You The Truth Well Spoken Once Again. What a great day to be alive & able to vote once again for the Side of Our Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ. I Can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for us TODAY. No matter what happens we must ALL stand togeather in Prayer & Fasting for Our nation & for the Lost Soul’s as the Lord Will give us this day as in every day fresh Manna for us to feast upon in his Holy Word….Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem
May God Bless You All

Friends in the LORD:
We read in Second Corinthians 10:3-6:
3) For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh:
4) (For the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God(does that remind us of anyone?), and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6) And having in a readiness to avenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
Further we read in Ephesians 6:12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].
Friends, note, we have been in a warfare from the first fall of man to this day, and mankind has made it inevitable that this warfare will continue until the arrival of our LORD. Since there is every appearance that the times spoken of by our Savior and the prophets are here, we reiterate the Isaiah 60:22 verse that seems so appropriate.
Paul calls us to be wearing the spiritual armor appropriate to the task, beginning and ending in the WORD of the LORD. It is the only way one can see how this is going to turn out, in complete verification of the promises of the Holy Bible to His people Israel, to the land of Israel, and to the followers of Him whose Name is to be praised forever.
Our God reigns from the heavens! Fear not, for He is with us, do not be dismayed for HE is our GOD! He rules in the affairs of men. I voted last week early, not for McCain but for Gov. Palin; my wife and I both. She acknowledges that there is a God in the heavens; not the moon lower case god of allah, but the Almighty who created all things. We very well will have to buckle our seat belts no matter who wins. I have read the Bible from cover to cover and I have not seen anywhere in that Book of Books that the end is going to be any easier than the beginning! Running a race is not a cake walk, it takes perseverance, prayer, intercession and mercy from God. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us; He has carved each and every one of His children in the palm of His mighty hand. Who on earth can remove us from that position? No spirit, nor power, no principality nor demon or angel. Rest secure under His wings; He will only let us experience what will serve to purify us as a chaste virgin for His Son. All will bring glory to His name. He alone is holy!
Amen! Althrough this election, I have been reminded of Elijah and the 7000
God had set aside. We are here and we are praying. Also, Esther. Sara has
come for “such a time as this”. Always pray and remain faithful. Teach and
remind our children of what the early church went through. Persecution is upon
us and civil unrest is inevitable. John McCain asked us to fight. Jesus asked us
to take up our cross! My plea to the faithful christian soldiers-No matter the results,
stand firm on the One who truly gives freedom!! As for me and my house, we will
serve the Lord.
You are absolutely correct, sir. We as Christians must do the right thing and vote for those who are most like Christ. However, in the event that the person(s) that we vote for are not elected, then we should always take comfort in remembering that the outcome of history remains the same–in Christ, we ultimately win.
May God have mercy on Israel and the USA! AS I watch the millions of people crying with tears of joy for the new president Obama, I am filled with sadness that Americans would choose this man, the most liberal senator that we have ever seen. A man that Louis Farakhaan called the ‘one.’ I am fearful for our countries. May God have mercy on us all.
Just as when we elected Bill Clinton, proving that morality isnot a requirement for the position in the eyes of Americans. We now state that the desires of God take second place to the desires of men.
I so hope that all those that thought to be prophets in proclaiming McCain’s victory will reconsider the next time they feel they should speak their hearts and desires instead of ones put forth by God. I get so tired if watching my brothers and sisters eat their words to the empowerment of our enemies. Better to hold your tongue and be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
So now we watch and wait and see what God has in mind here. I still love my country and my prayers are for this president to make wise decisions just the same as every other. God Bless America God Protect Israel
I also shed tears, but they were tears of sorrow. When it was announced that he won, I sobbed. I still can’t believe that he won.
Fellow believers,
It is time to wake up and circumcise your heart, your ears, your eyes, and your mind. Repent and humble yourself before the ONE true King of ALL creation. As in the days of Noah, so it shall be in the days of Messiah. As a result, I firmly believe that this may NOT be a time for prayer for this nation. This is a time like the time of Noah. It is not recorded that Noah prayed for the people of his time. In fact, the great sages of Judaism ponder this lack of prayer by a righteous man. One conclusion is that our Creator did not desire the prayer of Noah, so that in His KINDNESS (yes, kindness) He could bring His wrath upon the wicked. Lest you all crucify me, I encourage each of you to continue to “preach” repentance to the wicked. However, I also urge you to consider that this may not be a time of prayer for the wicked….as in the days of Noah. May His judgment be swift and His mercy prevalent under the shadow of His wings.
I do mourn. Most of all for what this means for Israel, we have not been her friend, our leaders have harmed her in the name of friendship. I shudder to think how our new leader will behave. I remember the scripture..the whole world will come against Jerusalem. The stage has certainly been set for that. May GOD forgive us. I also dread the deluge of fetal blood which will result from this election. Sure am glad that I am in CHRIST, HE alone is my refuge and my defense. HE who began a good work in me will carry it to completion till HE appears. Blessed be the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Both now and forever, AMEN
God will help His people. God will give His people complete peace. The wicked will have no peace. We will keep our minds on Him and be brave as soldiers in wartime and police on duty. Don’t worry! Forgive each other from your hearts. Our children will be blessed through this. They will see reality. Don’t be afraid. Remember Abraham LIncoln’s example: He was cheerful and brave during very tough times. He knew what he had to do and he kept his heart true. Finally he gave his heart to Christ. So should we.
I am saddened …………
Obama has won; and now we hear all over the media that McCain’s “advisors, etc.” continuously stirred up trouble for Sarah Palin, and tried to place a giant wedge between Palin and McCain.
It sounds to me as though Obama’s minions had “infiltrated” McCain’s ranks, so they could “sow discord among the brethren.”
Honestly, today it seemed to me that the happiest person in the United States of America is Condolezza Rice…..I have never seen her smile and “bubble over” before—but today she is ON A CLOUD over the Obama win.
George Bush “raised up” Rice to do his bidding…..little did Bush know, that the woman who he trusted completely….was secretly working for and voting for the Democratic candidate Barack Hussein Obama.
Isn’t it somewhat ironic…..Bush “threw away” some true and really loyal friends to promote Rice…..I guess today NO ONE is more shocked that Bush…..
Today……it appears to be “the calm” before the storm…..Storm clouds are gathering over America….Will the Laodicean Church recognize the signs of the times? Will they fall to their knees in Repentance?
I asked my Beloved 80 year old pastor (Brother Randy) last Sunday at Church if he thought America had sinned away her day of Grace……He looked at me very soberly and said: “Marsha….I don’t know……” It appears that we have—on the night of November 4th, 2008, the Most High God sent His Judgment to America. What we will have to suffer remains ahead of us………
But my family and I are standing with Israel…….We know the God of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps…………………….Israel’s God is our God too…………………..
Well written Stan, but I strongly disagree with some of the points you make. I tried everyway til Sunday to find a reason to vote for McCain. When he added the FAR right leaning Palin to the ticket, that all but delivered my vote to the Obama camp. The RNC has a solid foundation but has lost its way with the pandering to the religious right. I want a centrist goverment as do 95% of the American people. Pandering, by both parties, to the far right & the far left will be what ultimately destroys America. Thanks for voicing your opinion and the willingness to allow me to voice mine. That is what makes our country great.
The again, we could have this attitude:
http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/8350
BTW, why would you support someone who supports the division of Israel, as Palin did? (Yes, she did say that she supported Israel; she also said she support the establishment of a “Palestinian” state.) I didn’t support either. There is no such thing as “the lesser of two evils”.
