As so many people warned it would be, Israel’s 2005 “disengagement” from Gaza, which was supported by the United States, was pure folly.
It has resulted in NOTHING but more violence, more fear, more destruction, more death.

Of course there are solutions

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said Monday that there is no immediate solution to the Kassam rocket attacks that have for months been terrorizing thousands of Israelis, and that yesterday ended the life of 30-year-old Shirel Friedman.
A more honest statement would have been that he is not willing to implement solutions that DO exist.
The best one would be for Israel to begin moving its forces [...]
